If I may, an analogy. If someone destroyed your bicycle and got away with it, I'd imagine most people would be rather displeased with the scenario.
Like it or not, you blew up his cyber-bicycle, and like it or not, he was ****ed, and *like it or not* his cyber-monies are still worth something.(wtb game time cards anyone?)
Which isnt to say calling with death threats is *correct* or even very constructive, however not to *expect* retaliation is foolish.
I am generally a nice guy. I know where the line is. That wont stop me from playing devil's advocate in a scenario I find deeply amusing.
Mate I am not home and can't verify if this is your main or not, but I promise you this character is KOS for life to me. You are actually defending somone making RL Threats over a video game. No I am not a pirate, no this dosn't reflect my corps nor my alliance's view.
Just wanted to add, Trey is first person to ever Pod me in Eve, so do i like him in game, HECK NO... Do I call him and threaten him, NO, I blow him up in the GAME.
With all due respect to you dude, and stating adamantly that the threats to Malka are completely and utterly reprehensible.....having stated all that, just let me say that your own corp is notorious for having a large collection of individuals who suffer from the very same failure to place this game into the proper perspective of "it's just a game" and as such, there are many instances I can relate to you of DDC members, one in particular, acting precisely like the perpetrator of these threats.
I'll close by stating that I truly hope Malka decides not to let that feckin idiot have power and control in this situation and therefore decide NOT to quit Eve. I enjoy Malka's posts and even when we do not always agree I know at least there's an amount of mutual respect that is indicative of a class act on his part. I hope he does choose to come back!
