It is, quite frankly, sickening.
i'm glad to hear Malka is not quitting for good over this.
I would have to say that threats and name calling over a game might have troubled me once, but you get over these things when you have a nice half pool que right next to your desk.
That someone could use the lookup thingy on a website to find out your number tells me he's probably some bespectakled geekazoid wanting to feel tough IRL coz in game, he sucks ass.
Again, sorry to hear this happened (and has happened before) in the community that we all love.
If only you had a character name.. man, so many people losing sec status for shooting the **** out of this lamer everytime he undocked. he'd have to quit the game or make a new character... i'd camp the station everytime he logged on.

I find the fact that someone would do such a thing very worrying.
I also see people saying that his actions where fine. Now that is a seriouse problem. i sujest that they take a step back and look at what there doing and saying. first look at what a game is;

Its time people established some decent boundaries here. I always see these people in eve or on the forums blathering on about how pirates must be evil or depraved individuals.
If you're playing monopoly with your family and you win, do you realize you just bankrupted your entire family for staying on your property? Does that make you an evil person? No
Just because I blow people up ingame and take their stuff and generally try to make the game hard for them does not make me a bad person. Its a game, I'm playing the part, and enjoying it. The awesome part about this game is that there is an inner sense of morality within the game. You have the choice of becoming a righteous warrior or a depraved indiviual, other then pushing that button. Theres no alignment meter, theres no simple choices.
If you come across me in game, and I'm capable of killing you, expect me to attempt to do so. Does that mean I'm going to spend my free time pushing old ladies down stairs? No
Its time people in this game stepped back and realized that being a pirate is just playing a different game, its a choice you made. You have every right to play the antipirate game, or the guy who just cares the most about profit, but when people try to imply that in game actions should indicate my morals as a person, I have every right to be angry. So please, stop doing it. Theres a big difference between roleplaying statements and personal attacks. Its time people stopped crossing that line.

I cant beleve anyone would get worked up about a lil geek throwing a hissy fit and making death threats over the phone. Personaly id have told him to bring it.
If anyone has anything like this happen to them just laugh at them, hand them their dummy back and listen to the little biotch whine. All in all it's prolly make for a good laugh tbh

this nukeitall guy is so wrong.
everything u do in eve is PvP,
u use a labslot? some1 else needed that labslot, and possibly cant research his t2 blueprint for 2weeks and looses 1billion.
u mined that belt empty?, damn some1 else needed it, to fullfil a order he got, lost the best possible mineral contract (from a pvp corp),
and wont make anywhere near the amount of isk he made before.
and so o, and so on..
i read a few posts above a very inetersting line.
one day eve will b shut down,
with all the thousand, maybe million ships int he game - will ccp b threatened because they disabled/destroyed some1s ship(bicycle)?
