Over a -game-." I was shown this today and I was sickened that someone on our Eve community would do such a thing to another player. Malka Badi'a posted a blog today on Eve-pirate.com about a recent turn of events which took place. It's obvious that whomever you are, you dont care about Eve or it's players. It's inconcievable that anyone in this community (which is regarded by many other gaming communities are one of the best) would stoop down to such a low level that you would actually spend your time finding someone in real life and threatening them in such a manner. I have my suspicions as to who it is, as do we all Im sure. Malka did nothing other than try to share knowledge with other pilots and what did he get? He got threatened in real life for his efforts. Today, Im ashamed to be sharing a game with whomever commited this horrible act. I hope that you are found out and get a permaban from this game. To be perfectly honest, I just pity you. I pity anyone who feels the need to do such things. Get your act together.

People think they can strike at other people anonymously for kicks may find that the prey has teeth and a far less cordial disposition then previously expected. Which isnt to say he didnt know the risks. Then again the violator in this case new the risks too, and he lost.(in a manner of speaking)

Evil is accepted ingame but no one in their right mind would condone violence in RL verbally or physically because of what happened ingame. Do you support the right to kill of that guy who had his ingame sword stolen and killed his RL friend over it? If the answer is yes your ****** up. If no then why is verbal which is also wrong/illegal any different?

Which isnt to say calling with death threats is correct or even very constructive, however not to expect retaliation is foolish. I am generally a nice guy. I know where the line is. That wont stop me from playing devil's advocate in a scenario I find deeply amusing.
