Can anyone give me a synopsis of wtf has happened to eve since then?
Try to limit yourself to explorer/griefer/gank squad areas of interest please as those are my main areas of interest.  |

(though to be fair two account ganks were my norm, silly high sec pubbies getting butthurt over ninja salvaging and taking a shot at me.) |

Hrmmm, three part answer.
I'll do goonies first. LOL stupid nubs. I've spoofed moar goonies in my time because they think everyone not a goon is an easy mark. This can be capitalized on quite well.
As to the ganking. Welp sure solo ganking is fun and gets you major props but having extra accounts to scout/bait and then bring the pain is satisfying in its own right. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

gank squad areas of interest - any trade hub, any low sec/null sec bottleneck. as for gank 'combat', mining barges have changed to basically 2 types, tanky or yieldy. catalysts and tornado seem to be the gank ship of choice in high sec.

Exploration is brain dead now eh? Good. Cheap disposable faction fits are always nice.
Read the tos. Business as usual it seems.
I prefer null sec and low sec ganks. Alliance territory was always easy prey if you didn't stick around and try to farm the same areas.

Thanks. Game seems fresher graphically and lag so far is non existant even in nullsec.
This is coming from a player who had 15 second or more session changes in contested space three years ago.
Jumping from system to system even in jita was nearly instantaneous and a massive change from how it used to be.
Kudo's ccp devs on improving the game to a point it almost feels brand new. |
