Hold on, scratch my last post! 
Actually found a video that I can enter with, Together. 
This video was released 2004-03-26, almost 2 years ago, as a recruitment video for North Star Networks (still kickin'). It was my first "real" EVE video (published to the community). Since then there has been alot more made and published.

Runners Up
Laocoon - Coconuts
I could barely stop laughing here, funniest video I've ever seen. Unfortunately I felt some of the other aspects let it down, not enough variation in the method and while I appreciate the animation is difficult and time consuming, it didn't look all that great.
Seleene - bday_final
While the screenplay and effects in this video were excellent, it was a little marred by the somewhat jerky frames at points, probably due to low framerates recording the original material. Extremely well executed though.
Isis Dea - Vore main
I have to say I really can't find anything wrong with this one. Good soundtrack, smooth visuals... but didn't really grab me in any way, didn't stand out in theme or concept.
Winners announced after I get back home!

Yeah, sorry, my old video-card kinda melted, so I've been without a computer to play eve or edit movies on this week :(
Got a new geforce 7800 today, so now I'm back up and running, a little bit too late, but hey, I guess I'll catch the next one instead :)

While the resolution on this piece was somewhat lower than the competition, if that's what it takes for you to get a flawlessly smooth capture then I am all for it. Your camera angles always kept my attention, very good work with the circle effects - especially timing the one where they fly from the left to match with the crescendo in the music. Everything about this piece exudes style and professionalism. The visuals were crisp and clear, the music inspiring and thrilling, embodying the excitement that EVE can bring. One critical factor in my decision was the pinpoint accuracy with which the video was synchronized to the music, something everyone should realise about a soundtrack (and this is something the top three competitors all had to varying levels) is that it is not just something to keep the ears occupied while the eyes feast. A good soundtrack will amplify the intended effect and the more closely it is timed to match with its corresponding onscreen event the greater magnitude its effect will be. Venom, your video glued my eyes to the screen and nailed me to the chair at the same time. You have most certainly earned your Damnation command ship.

Thank you very much, its good to know my hard work is appreciated. I spent a fair amount of time on that movie and its good to know people enjoy what I make.
