I have my eve volume turned down low. Low enough that can adequately hear sound effects when I'm zoomed out to 50k, but have no issue hearing comms chatter.
However when we bridge through a titan with a little blob of space dudes, I am met with a DEAFENING ROAR as ships pile through the bridge, which makes my FC's orders unintelligible, and often force me to take my headphones off.
Gate jumps seem reasonably over volumed as well.
I think this effect is due to me playing most of the game zoomed out to 100km, and having the volume set for that (things decrease in volume when you zoom out).. Ofc the new cameras auto-pan zooms things back in, which quickly push volume of jumps (which are too loud already imo) to ear bleeding levels.
I remember the old 'quieter turret sounds' checkbox. Perhaps the game could use a 'quieter jump effects' tickbox as well. |

agreed, i remember when i had my first fleet titan bridge and the first thing i regretted was not turning the effects sound off |

while we're at it, maybe checking the sound regarding blackops bridge? cause this one is missing since last year winter expansion (at least, was not flying blackops before that).
oh, and fixing the animation for the strategic too, when they bridge from a black ops, they display the redish jump effect instead of the blue |

Why not customized sound packs. So you can set sounds to whatever you want? I am sure there would be fan ones pretty quickly. |
