Let me fix it for teh kiddies who have problems. and just so you know... I typed a longer version of this and didn't feel like dealing with the bullshit. Like i'm having to now.
So i had a big post that somehow didn't post. I'll summarize.
Gallali, i shouldn't have called you a douche, your advice is awesome. I've started working on other empire's career missions, and looking into LP i didn't realize i had. and i've had issues with doing incursions, as every time i try to join an incursion fleet, they only want my help if i have a BS or BC.
Tave, stfu. I don't want to google. I want to talk to people in the forums. In the thread that i made specifically for talking to people so that i don't have to use the robot that is google. now gtfo or something.
Dudley, great advice, haha. and what a grind it is. But yeah, my main goal isn't isk, like some players, but i realize that i need it to do the things i want to do. I guess you could say my main goal is helping my corporation/alliance become something big and have larger scale operations. Possibly with the addition of some kind of real security and combat force to go along with our industry.
Mr. Epeen, i actually learned most of what i know about who's scamming and who's not by watching your posts, haha. But like i said earlier, i don't want to spend any more money on the game unless i'm forced to buy PLEX for gametime. and i don't like to scam, so that leaves grind.... damn, haha.
And Jarod, can you please refrain from being a ******* moron. Just because i'm not acknowledging your ignorant ass with your repetitious, condescending posts doesn't mean i "somehow think it's your fault". I, in no way, indicated that it was anyone's fault, but my own, you presumptuous ass. Now gtfo with your idiocy.
Anyway. I've gotten some really good advice here. and like i said, ive been doing the career missions. But unless the answer is that you guys make your isk for plex by doing lots of manufacturing, mining, or trading, or by doing lvl4 and 5 missions, i still am a bit hazy on how you guys make the near 600mil for PLEX each month to extend your game time. which is all i really want. To be able to play the game for free. Otherwise, i might not have the money each month to keep playing. which just sounds dreadful... |

Seriously, I wouldn't do mining or missions alone. I have heard that playing with yourself leads to burn out so get some corpmates to lend a hand.
Also, get some PI alts for an easy tasty bonus. I feed most of my exploding spaceship hobby with PI. |

This thread contains the most unhelpful people I have seen an while.
My question is... Since you don't make enough money to plex your accounts it must mean you are paying $15 a month.
If you are paying for $15 a month it means you will most likley spend more time making isk than what a month is really worth (say 2 billion sounds reasonable for a single account).
So if you are paying for a month that you aren't making max amount of money, then why not just save the time and spend $15 to buy a plex and make 600 million now.
I mean you are spending the money anyways. |

Nothing to add except that if you are buying PLEX just to redeem as game time, 3 months or more at a time, don't buy PLEX. Login to your secure portal and just put in your CC info and tell it you want the 3 month block. This saves you like 3 bucks a month, more if you commit to more time as well. |

The way I make my ISK-for-PLEX each month is actually quite sad. It varies from mining to mission-running to salvaging to PI.
All of these are recipes for burnout, especially if you feel the pressure to do these tasks in order to fund playing the game.
One option is to get into trading: spend some real money up front on GTC or PLEX, convert that to ISK, use that ISK to trade. If you can maintain a 1% gain per day, you'll need 2B ISK to fund your monthly subscription. If you can manage the same with 4B ISK, you'll have a plentiful supply of frigates for PvP.

i have no idea, about your skills, and how long you been playing... but asuming your new, and want to go into market the legit way, use http://eve-central.com/ with this you can see, what things sell for and what people buy for, and use your industrials to buy where its cheap and see where people pay more, make sure there is buffer orders, so if somone beats you to a order, you wont be sitting with a big load, but like most things in EvE trial and error...
Exploration in highsec before last expansion, data centers could really pay out great as a beginner, exploration and hunting data centers was one of the first things i did as beginner and then i could make 5-25mil a data center in high, sometime ewen alittle bit more, but exploration is like a box of choclates, somedays you find many, somedays none, i know datacenters dont pay as good as thy used to, but still fairly oki, someone will have to help me with numbers...
As beginner, the most reliable income is probably mining, sadly, till you get skills and standings for lvl3+ security missions, or you have the skills, and resources to venture into low and null, good enough to get into a real guild...
Highsec, makes you good reliable money though a repetetive grind, and in a fairly safe way... Low and null is where the riches is, but like most things in EvE you want to make big, you also risk big, hope this can help and go |

Here is a point I haven't seen anyone raise: Why should anyone help you do something that took them time and effort in figuring out how to do? If they were to tell you have they make a billion a month, it would be trivializing what they do and would introduce competition in their isk making opportunity.
This is what my conclusion was a long time ago and accepted it for what it is. I'm content in playing the game and learning about what it has to offer. I found my own way of making isk, but it's not even close to a bil a month. I still consider myself new and just enjoying learning and exploring what the game has to offer. |

Fey, I've actually started getting into exploration in null sec here recently. I've found the data and relic sites to be far more rewarded there than in high sec. And i might do some mining, but it'll only be gas mining. Since i can turn around and sell it to my corporation for a pretty good profit. Especially viridian cyto.
Cpt. Tardbar, i'm actually doing REALLY good spending the money just to play. I'm not really in a situation where i can just buy plex like that.
and to all of you that have issues with begging. Would you rather be on the other side of someone begging or someone scamming? At least you've felt like you've helped someone, instead of feeling like an idiot because you fell for some dumb ****. I don't know some of you have act so stuck up. chances are, you've probably scammed someone before. A scammer is a dirty thief. Bottom line. But i'm past all this. I've started doing more missions and getting into exploration. Even made enough to get a venture with some gas harvesters, which i use as often as i can find gas clouds.
But overall, i'd really like to get into PI. Seems like a really good way for me to make money whilst making money everywhere else. Like i said, i really love the game and i'd like it to be self sufficient. Because, like i said, i don't have money to just throw at the game. I'm 23, just starting life on my own and between a broken leg and all the other **** i have to pay for, i can't just buy plex for cash. But it's becoming a less and less important matter, as i've begun to use the information provided here to expand my sources of income. woot. |

If you can find a good market to trade, you can make billions a month. I wont tell you my secret thought. But I will tell you how to make your first couple of billion. Here is how I started (this is if you are starting):
1. Read everything about FW. Make sure you know the ins and outs (http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Factional_Warfare)
2. Re-read the part about plexing about 10 times (http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Factional_Warfare#Plexing)
3. Join Caldari FW. They are currently in Tier 2.
4. Buy a cheap frigate (500k-1.5m). You can put a cloak on it but not necessary.
5. Go to a Caldari plex site in a system that is 50-95% contested and plex that site.
For a Med site, you will earn ~9,375-18,750 LP for capping it (T2 Med Plex site is 25K LP * .75 because it is friendly * contested level). 1 LP = ~1500 isk. So in 15 min, you will make ~14-28m.
6. If an enemy comes, you either cloak and wait for him to leave or run away and go to another plex site.
7. Once you are comfortable with PVP, go plex enemy sites and make even more LP.
8. Once you earn 250k LP, buy a raven and trade the raven+LP for a Raven Navy Issue. Sell for 400m isk profit per 250k LP. You can make that in 1-3 days.
9. If Caldari FW falls down to T1, then just join another faction and is at T2 or higher (you make more LP = more isk).
PS. If you don't have enough isk to buy a Raven to trade, just trade some LP for some ammo until you get ~100m isk. That should be enough. When you go to exchange the Raven for a Raven Navy Issue, don't auto-pilot and always use a cloak if something doesn't feel right. |

look at that eve-central.com
and find an item that is cheaper in place A than in station B. Arbitrage.
Try to avoid low/null-sec, when you're at it.
after you've built up your wallet a little, you can start station trading. To me it seems station trading needs a bit more starting capital. |

If you want ISK by the bucket load then go to Null with a corp & alliance that will look after you.
We run hordes & easily make 100 million per hour without breaking a sweat. This obviously takes the skills to pilot the ships required but if you team up with somebody who can show you the ropes whilst you skill up you can easily be sharing the 100 million per hour & have great fun as well.
