Originally by: Nero Scuro When Placid Reborn was contacted and asked to aid in the effort, the response given was 'why?'. How do you explain this?
Myself and OmegaChief arrived half an hour after the attack, OmegaChief in fact arriving before anyone else, and neither of us found anything. It's hardly surprising that by the... what, 8-9 hours(?) it took you to arrive anything worth finding was long gone.
I'm unimpressed with your effort to turn a national tragedy into yet another political points-scoring drive. We can't be everywhere at once and we continue to offer whatever assistance we can. Exactly what humanitarian aid have you offered?

Originally by: Nero Scuro It was not me who contacted Placid Reborn. Perhaps you should question your members on whom received calls for aid from anyone on that day and then refused to show up.
Perhaps I should stop listening to your idiotic speculation?

I'm thoroughly disgusted that the Federal administration has once again let the people of Placid down. Why has it taken seven months to launch a rescue mission and why has it been left to the Sisters to undertake? Why has there been no internal investigation, rather deferring to CONCORD and Mordu's Legion to pick up the threads?
The culture of neglect continues.

And who precisely would do such a thing? The Federation itself? Sheer madness.
The Intaki seperatist movement is neither numerous enough nor violent enough to be disposed of in such a destructive manner. The most visible proponents of violent measures to secure Intaki independence appear to currently be working for 3rd Front Alliance in the Syndicate as we speak.
Aside from the fact that such a remote and uninhabitated world such as Reschard V is unlikely to have been a hotbed of fervent Intaki nationalism, don't you think that effectively erasing a planet would only serve to further polarise Intaki popular opinion away from the Federal government?

Originally by: Mithrantir Ob'lontra The rescue mission was there from day one, the problem was that the surface of the planet was unreachable untill now. That is obviously stated and within the GalNet broadcast.
You are quite correct. I apologize for my oversight. Let us hope that investigative teams can quickly shed some light on the Reschard tragedy.
