The current setup in fleets is that anyone can broadcast a target and so forth. Now Granted this is needed as logi's would just kill themselves if people were yelling on comms or in chats about getting reps.
What I would like to see is that the other non-help-me broadcasts limited only to the F/W/S commanders, such as Target.
Why? Currently fleet commanders are not in command position and only use the positions for fleet boost. Logically the fleet commander could broadcast to the whole fleet, the wing to his/her wing, and the squad to his/her squad. This means the FCs would need to also provide the boosts as well as command or the person in the positions would have to do the broadcasting in place of the FC.
I want to do this in part of FCs who think they are amazing and wont shut up about "their" doctrine which "they" made, even though it was clearly stolen, 1 mod changed, and the the fit is still shite. |

Commandment number 1: Thou shalt not build walls in the sandbox.
If you don't want your squaddies giving target broadcasts, tell them not to do it. If they still do it anyway, kick them from fleet. |

Fixed that for you.
And if it's FC only, what the hell do you do when your FC goes down? |

The same thing FCs do everytime they die in fleet, "Well, your all on your own know, someone take the FC spot." |

Then you have some pretty bloody awful FCs.
You want to make dedicated target callers, backup target callers, backup FCs, the FC using an alt when they go down and the ever popular 'someone call targets' impossible; or at least much harder. Why is that good? |
