This is rather expensive, and really - honestly - the CNR was made for Cruise Missiles. But this beast tanks cap stable and puts out serious hurt on any BS. No room for a painter, tho :( 47 km Range with Tech I Torps - 71 with Javelins.

I have crosstrained to Amarr for fun at some time, and this is what I flew:
2x Large Armor Repairer II 2x Dark Blood Armor Kinetic Hardener 1x Dark Blood Armor Thermic Hardener 2x Capacitor Power Relay II
1x Domination 100MN Afterburner 3x Cap Recharger II
8x Mega Modulated Energy Beam I, Multifrequency L
1x Ancillary Current Router I 2x Capacitor Control Circuit I
5x Hammerhead II
You can fire all guns and keep one repper running indefinately. You can turn off the guns and run 2 reppers AND the AB indefinately.
So you do have a "backup" for tight moments and can dictate the range and Transversal. It's lovely for Missionrunning and has quite the Style. :D

I stick to my 2 small or 1 medium Pith* boosters. It's plenty of tank for any Mission and keeps the low slots free of cap-recharge crap. Giving you 4 BCUs.
Honestly... overtanking is just too easy on the Raven. EFT tends to worsen the setups.
You dont want MAXIMUM tank, you want SUFFICIENT tank - and everything else should be gank. Really.

Indeed - One medium would be better - but ALOT more expensive. As stated - one of those small ones can be had for 20 Mill. If you check for same grade medium it will be at about 700-900 Mill. In that case you might prefer to upgrade to a CNR with some fancy faction mods. And stick to the small boosters. |

- Cap stable with cheap implants. Tanks level 4. finishes them quickly. For CNR swap laser for +1 launcher. *shrugs* At some point I stopped even wanting to improve this ship anymore. (Flying regular raven as mx CNR got scanned a little too often and ganking that sucker would actually pay off ^^)
Now I hardly fly it anymore. Instead I'm running through level 4's in cheap cheap tech II fitted maelstrom, abaddon or apoc and the like. Imho guns win now due to the ability to instapop anything small flying towards you.
