Edited by: tiller on 25/07/2006 20:00:35 Wow, thats one of the crapiest setups I have ever seen. It's amazing you don't lose it.
edit: ok seriously, why would you need stabs for any current lvl4 mission ?, they will only reduce your tank and dmg and certainly not help you complete missions quickly. Quickly doing missions for rapid isk generation is what the raven is all about.

6 * cruise II, 2 * dim nos
1 * cap re II, 1 * invun II, 2 * rat spec t2 hardeners, 1 * shield boost amp, 1 * gist c-type xl
2 * pdu II, 1 * CAP RELAY lol, 2 * BCU II
rat spec cruise t1 missiles and light drones.
The weird thing about this setup is the cap relay (stole idea from someone else), yeah it reduces boost but I can solo every lvl4 mission, never warp out and have NEVER gone below about 2/3s cap even on angel extravaganza 1st lvl full aggro. I think the reduction in boost is worth giving up for 20% cap recharge.
I don't use a tractor any more.. most loot is crap anyway, but instead prefer to speed through misssions as fast as I can for max lp.

Originally by: Peter Stuyvesant Because it gives extra shield resists that are not subject to a stacking penalty, and I guess if everything really went wrong, the extra hull resists might just let you get out in time.
(ps I dont use them on my mission raven but if I wasn't using a Gist booster I'd consider it)
Dmg controls shield resist bonus stacks with your current hardeners... this means it really does not do that much except give your arm and hull more in case of emergencys (if you shield is gone then you are in deep trouble anyway)

Originally by: Tyler Lowe Not to put too fine a point on it, but an internal forcefield array is only moderately worse than equiping a third invuln field. It's a very large boost in shield hardening, and it can free a midslot.
They *do not* suffer a stacking penalty. The additional hardness is applied after shield hardeners are all acounted for, so it's not quite the same as running top of the line faction mods, but it is definately a worthy consideration for a lowslot.
Oops, your right about the stacking. Lesson learnt there not to assume things in eve, my bad.
