I rarely come here, but since someone wanted the occasional story. I have taken to stopping in Bagodan this past week and looking through some less populated areas of Amarr. We ran across this corp. And then this happened.
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=20433523
Mining in a dead end system with no station has its drawbacks. We came across them by accident. If they were not in the habit of flying unscouted freighters then we probably would not have noticed the mining op. He jumped his Obelisk into us unscouted. Then 40 seconds later local filled with the rest of his mining fleet. All jumped in at the same time. About two minutes after everything died they returned with a Noctis to the gate for unknown reasons, which also died. I normally do not fly a Mach and was just screwing around with it.
We received very high quality hate mail, rage and threats. Their corp was promptly kicked from the alliance after this happened due to terrible losses. They have now added us to their contacts lists with promises of vengeance. Later that day we ran across them flying a Tempest with zero modules installed and put it out of its misery.
He did replace that Orca in the same day, but then flew it straight into the camping crew in Uedama/Sivala and lost it again: http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=20442699

I just wanted to make a thread that is not about flame or a merc-advertisement, but to share how we stumbled across a tasty treat in space and crunched on it. This should be the kind of thing that brightens up everyone's day. Smack talk to me gently, I'm new at this. |

This is a good question. I enjoyed the story, but why was this in a 0.7 system?
EDIT: Oh wait, marmite, I assume this was a wardec? I hate to disagree with you,-ábut there is nothing subjective about "boring" in connection to "mining". -á-á-á-á -- Solstice Project's Alt |

LOL!!
Trifectas Syndicate. Not surprising Frazer kicked them out, considering they hold sov space for mining in Oasa.
Trifectas held Tama for several years and put up some good fights against Snuffbox and other entities in the area so they are not exactly terrible by any stretch of the imagination.
No doubt Ena had a butt clenching moment at these losses and they hit the eject button forthwith.... lmaoo
Very nice Hammar, good to see you still out there and kicking it, congrats! |

This was a war dec. All victims were legit war targets. Some of the guys in their corp are pvpers, allegedly, and had run into us the day before in pvp ships and died. But we did not know about their industry wing until that pleasant surprise.
I sense this was an ISboxing operation given all mining ships jumped in at the same time.
I might not have posted this were it not for the delightful emails we have been receiving from this corp. Smack talk to me gently, I'm new at this. |

Post it on an external blog.
www.minerbumping.com might be appropriate. You don't need to be part of the Order to post there, just someone that does not like highsec miners. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. The difference between an enemy and a friend is that you stab your enemies in the front. |

Here is a pastebin of the first exchange: http://pastebin.com/PZfJ8Hhd
This is a follow up: http://pastebin.com/71Ni85ig
This is a pvper from their corp who wasted 20 minutes of our time talking smack from inside a station - then when we left he sent us this: http://pastebin.com/VMjbhEsx
For the record - nobody gate camped them anywhere at any point. Smack talk to me gently, I'm new at this. |

Funny as they did not even tried to warp the ships that were not tackled, since obviously you gusy did not had 6 points in that gang :P

Catching the second Orca was a laugh. We had one WT in a Brutix camped in station when JB entered Uedama. I saw the corp, remebered the tears reaped earlier and warped to Sivala gate thinking I might get lucky and catch him in a frigate. D-scanning away and up pops an Orca with his name on it.
Shyte, I think. Surely he's filled the lows with stabs? I won't be able to hold it in the Ishtar.
Jumped with him and pointed him up in Sivala. Surprised when he didn't warp, I kicked on the MWD and gave him a good bump. He's then put out warrior II's and engaged whilst trying to crawl back to the gate?
When the Orca died I mis-clicked trying to lock the pod and grabbed something else instead, but that was OK as JB was trying to save his pod by crawling back to the gate rather than doing something really stupid like Warp Out.
If EVE is getting you down, I heartily recommend wardecc'ing this corp. you will certainly get some good laughs.

I think something went wrong with his multiboxing scheme. We had almost finished the obelisk when the rest of them jumped in. I had Biscuits hold the Orca while I went down the list of mining barges with 800mm autocannon. For some reason he could not warp them off because we def did not have 6 points. this story moved level of this collective to new level! Null people are like a kid who broke his own toy and is jealous about another kid that still has a new, shiny toy. In the kid's mind, the only way to happiness is to grab that shiny toy and break it so both kids are in equal misery.
