First it depends how you define famous. Is a TV presenter or an author famous? Or are we just talking about movie and pop stars here? What about stage actors? Classical or opera singers? Sports people? Some people might know my name if I posted it here. Then again they might not. I'm not going to, anyway. It's going to be rare for someone famous to announce themselves in an environment like this. The media tell the public that famous people are where they are by choice and therefore have no right to privacy. So that means that a nicely anonymous roleplaying game can be a good place for people to interact with other people relatively normally (aside from the whole spaceships and warp drives thing, obviously). We can speculate, but I'd hope anyone who's actually aware of a celebrity of any stripe here will continue to respect that person's privacy.

How do you think he has time to play EVE? Of course, their entire strategy revolves around blobbing and ganking at jumpgates, which is awfully hard to do with four Cessna 182s, a truck full of Springfield rifles, and a handful of Sno-Cats... --------------------------

Edited by: Xerxes X on 16/02/2006 16:25:29 An interesting story here, maybe Samuel L. Jackson is indeed into playing Eve: http://www.yankidank.com/article.php?story=20051119082323612 Coincidentally Vin Diesel was at this event so maybe the earlier post wasn't bluffing . Canada is like a loft apartment over a great party. sorry had to say it but they DO have a military....somewhere...i think they are the ones with the blue helmets that are never allowed to shoot anything because it could create an "incident" last i heard, weapons of all types were designed to create fairly permanent "incidents" :) back to the topic at hand! i heard eddie murphy plays eve

STOP. POSTING. THIS. THREAD. For some reason, every month SOMEBODY feels the need to post this thread. And the answer is always the same: (A) The rumor that Samuel L. Jackson plays EVE comes from an interview where we talked about a film with the word "Eve" in the title. There is NO evidence that he plays EVE. (B) Even if ANY celebrity played EVE, there would be no way to prove it. These threads are nothing but spam. CCP needs to add one more forum rule: "You may not post threads soley for the purpose of discussing celebrities playing EVE."------------------------------------- [04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk [04:21:15] Mebrithiel Ju'wien > Nik's bio 4tw btw [07:38:53] Graelyn > Nikolai for Dev 108!Stop whining about my signature - Wrangler \ o / ~kieron [\"] -Capsicum <3 -eris you wanted colours now you have them :) -eris..again Donuts and cAKe anyone? Canada as a good military, I admit a bit underfunded but the goal of our army is to serve and protect. Not to create a military economy, we are a peacefull nation! But we are pretty mutch specialised in field support and recon for our many alies. Most special froces are used to create bridges out of paper and sand while fending off bears with a knife! As for celebrities there must be a few minor...

Edited by: Eddie Izzard on 17/02/2006 00:13:15 Eddie Izzard Plays EvE. "..in Church of England, you can't say, "You must have tea and cake with the Vicar, or you die!" You can't have extreme points of view, you know. The Spanish Inquisition wouldn't have worked with Church of England. "Talk! Will you talk!" "But it hurts!" "Well, loosen it up a bit, will you? Fine..." æCause that's what it would be. "Tea and cake or death? Tea and cake or death? Tea and cake or death!" Students with beards, ( mimes demonstrating with picket signs ) "Tea and cake or death! Tea and cake or death! Little Red Cookbook! Little Red Cookbook!" æCause, "Cake or death?" That's a pretty easy question. Anyone could answer that. "Cake or death?" "Eh, cake please." "Very well! Give him cake!" "Oh, thanks very much. It's very nice." "You! Cake or death?" ôUh, cake for me, too, please." "Very well! Give him cake, too! We're gonna run out of cake at this rate. You! Cake or death?" "Uh, death, please. No, cake! Cake! Cake, sorry. Sorry..." "You said death first, uh-uh, death first!" "Well, I meant cake!" "Oh, all right. You're lucky I'm Church of England!" Cake or death?" "Uh, cake please." "Well, we're out of cake! We only had three bits and we didn't expect such a rush. So what do you want?" "Well, so my choice is 'or deathÆ? IÆll have the chicken then, please.
