What about stage actors? Classical or opera singers? Sports people? Some people might know my name if I posted it here. Then again they might not. I'm not going to, anyway. It's going to be rare for someone famous to announce themselves in an environment like this. The media tell the public that famous people are where they are by choice and therefore have no right to privacy. So that means that a nicely anonymous roleplaying game can be a good place for people to interact with other people relatively normally (aside from the whole spaceships and warp drives thing, obviously). We can speculate, but I'd hope anyone who's actually aware of a celebrity of any stripe here will continue to respect that person's privacy.
