So like, I'm stuck in Algogille or however the heck you spell that... I can't see squat, but I did manage to get a petition in since its window arises above the darkness. My question is: what now? Should I stay logged in, should I log off, do I try back later and see if I've been unstuck? Will I receive a reply to my petition by e-mail, or wha? :)

I was stuck in Algogille earlier and used an alternate to file a petition. I just logged off and waited.. 2.5 hours later when I checked, I had been moved.

Ive been stuck in Algogille all godamn day and filed 2 petitions but squat! I have two accounts but I was in the middle of some corp stuff when it died. They dont even have a warning about the Algogill or Essence...Some sort of holiday at CCP?

Dang... well misery loves company, so hey at least we have each other. 
Edit;
Just wanted to add that I really only had one major beef with the getting stuck thing, and that is that there was NOTHING in the news bulletin about it. There was a blurb about the latest two systems, but nothing about the one I got stuck in, and apparently it's claimed more than its share of pilots today. Was there even a notification of this? Wouldn't it make sense to have a "traffic report" type thing in the news bulletin, where we can go to see ALL the advisories currently active?

Why do you use an alt to petition?
When you get the "Black Screen" just press alt + enter to get into windowed mode.
All the GUI will appear with the floating blue head.
You can just submit a petition that way.

Sadly, I'm stuck there aswell. Used an alt to file a petition. They'll fix it rapidly I think/hope. Seeing more people filing petitions about it.

Well I checked this morning and I'm unstuck (hooray!), and I even got an apologetic message from the GM who un-stuck me, apologizing for the long delay. Good stuff. They seem pretty frustrated about the whole stuck issue the same as we are, and that's actually good to know.
