Also: you're gonna get really drunk if you guys actually manage to do it within the hour. I was away from EVE the last 2 expansions so I can't say if things got better but in the past I always spent a week reminding corpies and mates to set LOOOONG skills (at least a few days) b4 expansion launch cuz of overshooting the timetable and the inevitable downtime for fixing game breaking bugs the days after launch.

Ive never experienced an EVE patch day.. but no game I have ever played has not overshot their patch time by like .. half a day or more. Try leage of legends. They just give up and predict 6 hour down times instead. 1 hour does seem ambitious, they should probably pad their estimates a little more, though it would be awesome if they hit it.
