Thanks for the heads up.
How are you guys holding up? Do you think Stainwagon are coming back to Stain?
I feel Stainwagon are spreading themselves thin and if they are going to occupy Stain they may only be able to commit a smaller number.
Stainwagon do have my respect and they have stood the test of time, It is a good idea for smaller groups within Stain to call a ceasefire and have a look at teaming up to defend against Stainwagon if they should attack. Groups like Hub Zero and Happy Cartel will have some difficulty against such a determined opponent. |

Nah, its only really a couple of C0ven corps that want to come back to Stain and live here on a more permanent basis. When/if they come, all they will do is clear out various POSes and strut about for a bit. It's -very- hard to evict people from NPC space unless you actually live there. They will concentrate on the T8 pocket up north where they usually have a presence, but other than that I doubt they'll accomplish a lot. We dunked a c0ven gang pretty hard last night and today we made their sleipnir gang run to NRT4 where they evaced their ships with carriers and then fled the pocket in nano ceptors. |

Trolol, C0ven has a really bad day today here in Stain. They were reinforcing a tower in DABV with 20 dreads and a really crappy sub cap fleet for protection. Some friends had invited NC. to get some easy dread kills.

Earlier in this thread I was criticized for planning and gathering intel more than actually doing something. Ciumcium Siorpija's post shows exactly why.
As much as i respect C0ven I feel that they failed to gather intel here and they didn't plan for the possibility of their opponents attacking with better logistics. If you are risking 45b in ships then real time intel is essential. It would have been an idea to send out a group of pilots into Stain and find out NC's staging point. Once this is achieved its a case of watching to see if NC starts to deploy while the POS bash is in progress, if NC was seen to be mobilizing then its a question of getting safe.
Other methods include getting the names of the NC pilots deployed in Stain then looking through their killboards with a fine toothed comb, look for what ships they fly and make a note . The contacts system is a useful tool because you can group contacts under a label. So you could have NC's logistics fleet under one label and quickly see how many of them are online. Use this intel to determine if its safe to do a POS bash.
I learnt these skills from Dracvlad who a brilliant mind and it really is an honour to work with him, If he was working with one of these big alliances then I am sure they would be doing very well thanks to his input. We also have other guys here like Herzog and Infinity and quite frankly I think we have a great set of guys that can show us how to achieve this. It is our job to respect their ideas and strategies and do our best to implement them. This really is a great group of guys, I see them as Eve Celebrities
Damn this is so cool.

We continued to grow our blue list, furthermore the anti-Aaron coalition of losers from UF-KKH decided to pay us a visit, I logged on to find them in 6Y so setup to kill them to find them jumping out, such is life... So Infinity decided to make it clear that there would be an impact and went to UF-KKH and camped it, bubbling their station great screen dump that and bombing their gate camps killing Dreldor in the process. Because they could not do their risk adverse bubble camping they went to hisec and did some hisec ganking They then sent someone to camp us who filled up local with spam, suggesting that I needed to contact his directors, as if camping one system that is normally camped, or camping 6Y bothers us in the slightest, after a couple of days of this he disappeared.

Hey Everyone,
This is Aaron logging on as an alt. I have moved into my new place and I will be back playing Eve on Thursday.
I am looking forward to getting back into Hub Zero and it looks as if we have had a small victory with infinity deciding to take on the anti-Aaron coalition and forcing them back to high sec. Very well done there Infinity I am very impressed with this and it is an honor to be working with you on Hub Zero.
DD is disbanding!!!???
If they go their separate ways then it is a good thing for Hub Zero. We will have a few ex StainEmpire/DD corps and pilots in Stain because they are as much devoted to Stain as I am. It is also possible that they are going to create another alliance that will police Stain and own Esoteria/Paragon soul, we will have to see.

I think people tend to assume that because we don't subscribe to the kill everything not blue philosophy that that makes us carebears but this is just not true.
Its quite a bit more difficult to operate with non-blues around, not easier, and the potential for spontaneous pvp and axoxxing is much higher. Bluing everyone so that you're almost totally safe is signficantly more care-bearish than what Hub-Zero is doing. The proposed changes to reprocessing modules is a massive kick in the nuts for Hub Zero, in one change to the game CCP have cut our mineral production by close to 50%. This means that we become a lot more inefficient at building ships then we were before and it was not exactly fast before hand. The method of belt ratting, salvaging and looting was at the lower end of income generation in null, however it enabled you to be a lot harder to kill if you use our strategies and tactics.
I went through the changes with a number of the people in Hub Zero who have operated long term in Stain, most of which have built their own ships in Stain using loot, so in doing this CCP have reduced our industrial capacity by 50%
If CCP wanted to adjust compression to make it better than using Large Railguns then go ahead and do it, however to destroy this belt ratting profession just so compression is worth doing is very very lame. Module loot has been nerfed again and again, this is the killer blow, RIP belt ratting...
Please CCP think this through! Don't be a turd and follow the herd Instead be a Hero at Hub Zero |

Nevertheless, one of the many benefits of operating out of npc null sec is that one can be adaptable. There are many other tricks which we have up our sleeve which we can fall back upon. Belt ratting is just one of the many ways to make isk, and despite the mineral aspect of ratting taking a hit, blitzing the rats to collect the bounties is still viable, and in fact more profitable using a pure isk / time calculation. Also, one of our members made around ten billion isk recently from a single officer spawn, so you can always get a lucky spawn.
Also I should point out, as Infinity has shown, as we are operating under the radar we can quite easily launch covert attacks at anyone hostile to us and our members. An aggressive local Stain group recently found this out the hard way, with Infinity being able to completely shut down their operations and quite amusingly driving their whole group into high sec single handedly.
Although we are fundamentally looking to the betterment of New Eden, and operate strictly on a Not Hostile Don't Shoot basis, these more destructive capabilities are available to us with multiple cells being able to operate in this way if necessary.
Also, Industry types are always welcome Anomaly One. |

I will of course still do it, but its rather annoying, what is evident to me now is that CCP did it to get rid of extra materials and perhaps to try to force people to mine, yeah right, I want to sit in a mining ship in NPC 0.0 and give easy kills, nope I will have to suffer a 50% reduction and grit my teeth over it and hope that hauler spawns don't get removed, wouldn't surprise me if CCP decided to remove them too. Well we have a Jump Freighter so will just have to adjust the approach as needed, its just do annoying to have CCP make belt ratting less attractive when they should be doing the opposite...

On Friday a HOD character trying to refuel his R64 in TL met Infinity and lost his fuel load, nice one Infinity.
For my part I managed to get on a bit on Saturday, while keeping an eye on things noted a Hand of Despair pilot trying to go after people, though no one told me the ship, then I also got a report of a Hand of Despair Hurricane sitting on the 6Y gate in F-T, needless to say I set up for him, the first HOD pilot came into 6Y and warped to the F-T gate to find one of my toons there so he engaged, he being in a HML drake, so I engaged and then the cane jumps in and I bring in something nice and meaty to smash them, I tell others in channel of the engagement and quite a few respond, though only one of them managed to get on the Drake kill, but he did get the final blow and a good chunk of damage, good one mate...
Then the UF-KKH camper logged on and started saying we were fail, so I just kept linking him the kills I had got recently, it can be funny while doing other things just dropping such stuff in local.
Today in 6Y we have two HOD one of which is an Arazu pilot, here we go yawn BLOPS, and our talkative camper, who strangely is not currently talkative, for my part I will sit in 6Y so they have someone to focus on, and if these HOD give me a chance they too will end up in their pods. Yaknow it's great to see this take shape, the economy is coming together nicely and Infinity and Drac seem to be leading the way in PVP with a couple of flawless victories. Earning potential is even better than I thought it would be and I'm hearing we've had an officer spawn worth an astounding 10 billion isk.
Hub Zero has survived and is growing at a very good rate, and it seems Drac is sending a standings update mail every day.

Unforgiving, the alliance of I hate Aaron people have decided to up their game from totally ineffective to highly ineffective, we have the mouthy camper, plus one of them sitting in 6Y and another in TL, what they do not realise is that TL is quite often camped by Stain Empire and other such people, so we look at TL as a bonus system when its free. Unforgiving are an entity that is very risk adverse as we have already mentioned, however they are competent at holding their space and are getting plenty of kills on Hand of Despair, so while I have contempt for their woeful attempts with us, I will however cheer every kill they get on Hand of Despair around UF-KKH.
The alliance which is made up of ex-STUDS players seem to have setup in the TG-Z23 area which is near to Unforgiving, its still early days from the retreat by HOD and their allies, so far we have only seen limited and ineffectual movements in our direction.
Recent drama was someone from Phobia. getting blue status for himself while his corp/alliance mates shot our guys, while we have blued up people as individuals, we can now only blue up people as individuals if the rest of them operate in their totality elsewhere, so we were forced to set Phobia. -10 because it looks like it was deliberate on their part. I am a littole saddened by the typical shoot everything mode of these people when Hand of Despair are coming back to Stain, but no one can accuse gank bears of intelligence, its killboard killboard and killboard.

Pretty sad that certain people in the game are investing so much time and effort to try to derail the hub with permacamping cyno alts as well. I had to petition one of them yesterday that's been following me around for the last month calling me a pedophile and spewing vile crap in local...

There's always at least one instalock gate camp on the chain between "deep Stain" and highsec. Luckily being equipped for that plays in my favor.
I can imaging people getting all bent over for SOV or such a response if their SOV was being trespassed on (and admittedly the larger alliances are even more tolerant of that) but this reaction on Stain... something is not right. There was something more going on out there than just playing a game I think. Bring back DEEEEP Space! |

When I started Hub-Zero I was kicked from STUDS because they were getting lots of pressure from Stainwagon. STUDS are a very cool set of guys and I have lots of respect for them. I did say to the leader of STUDS that they could join the Hub if things didn't work out in Paragon soul, the offer still stands.
STUDS are mainly US guys with a few guys from Europe. I'd like to reach out to them to see if we can get them onboard. Unforgiving are very good at pvp and it is possible that STUDS will be their targets, also HOD may not honour anything with ex-STUDS.
