Jan Riksma, the modulus function works as following (explanation in dutch for him):
- De modulus functie neemt het eerste getal en deelt het door het tweede getal, en de uitkomst is de rest van de deling.
- Dus bv. 17 modulo 5 = de rest van 17 gedeeld door 5 = 17%5 = 2 want 17 is 3 keer 5 + 2
Onthoud dus gewoon, modulo is de rest bij deling...
10 modulo 5 = 0 want er is geen rest bij de deling '10 gedeeld door 5'

Hmm, just had a look at the website and it says:
The reference rates are based on the regular daily concertation procedure between central banks within and outside the European System of Central Banks, which normally takes place at 2.15 p.m. ECB time (CET).
So I guess the figures used for the draw will be available then. Which is at GMT +1 hour = 1.15 GMT, or in 45 minutes or so :)

Well the numbers are out... However I have no idea how to use modulus function, so could someone please calculate this for me?
Also bear in mind that unitl the OP confirms it this is a strictly unofficial winning ticket calculation :) (yeah I'm too impatient to wait! lol)
1st Prize: 57365 mod 228 = ???
2nd Prize: 73585 mod 228 = ???

For first price the 5-digit number is
57365
For second price the 5 digit number is
73585
Using modulo 228 the winning tickets are
First price goes to ticket number: 137
Second price goes to ticket number: 169
It seems there is one extremely lucky girl. Tanyasha bought 10 tickets and she has both 137 and 169. A big congratulation Tanyasha.
I would like someone to verify the ticket numbers and post here. |
