So is there an easier way to find out which corps own what POCOS than simply going out and looking at all of them? Would be interesting to see who owns the most in each area.
If not it seems kinda silly you can get this amount of info without being able to see something like that |

This idea was originally proposed by Glevon Goblin in the article "Thousands of fleet bears, please ignore."
Interesting read, though I am curious as to whether any null sec entities will realise that it could actually work. CCP almost made it work, though they lacked the skilled FCs required to make a 2000-strong roam into null sec actually function.

Over 150 and counting. The nullsec alliances own the most. They are concealing them across dozens of neutral highsec corps. The goal was to get highsec PIers to pay the nullsec block while not knowing they were doing so, and not knowing who to retaliate against. I would not be surprised if RvB owns the most highsec pocos within a single public entity though. |

Watching the evolution of the PI market now is almost better than watching pron. Building up large stock of raw materials was a good call for many people, but even those stocks are not enough to cover the demand. And they say the PI in hi sec sux.. heh! |

There really are highseccers out there who'd rather make 17% customs tax disappear into the ether, than pay another player 2%. THAT'S PVE dedication, folks.
You have to remember that most people don't read patch notes. From their perspective the tax went from 10% pre-Rubicon to 12% now, and the name attached to this new, higher tax office is yours. They have no clue that the tax rate on NPC offices changed to 17% or that they can train a new skill to get their tax rate below pre-Rubicon levels at your POCO.
As funny as it would be to attribute this to hard core PvEism, it's most like just ordinary MMO-patch-ignorantism. |

This, so much this. RvB decided to do a POCO grab to supplement our meagre income (we don't own moons, we don't rent space etc etc). We set the tax rate to neutrals to a very reasonable rate. And yet, people flipped out. |

Its weird I agree, I mean we often leveraged a buyout of someones POCOs in lowsec with a low tax offer or flat out told them 'its easier to offer you some isk than shoot these if we dont have to'. I guess low sec is just more chilled out that way. Pirates - The Invisible Fist of Darwin

I don't envy you. Clearing out all highsec will take weeks to perform and that's with you doing nothing but shooting customs offices when you log in.
Good luck with the project. |

Just an update on the pocogeddon/pococide/pocalypse:
Caldari highsec is done. Amarr highsec is nearly done. Amarr has a HUGE number of systems. It's embarassingly large the number of systems they have. There are a lot more interbus remaining in Amarr space than there were in Caldari space due to the lower demand. But the demand is still here. On a daily basis we're encountering other interbus grinding fleets.
Every system that we clear is completely POCO'd by player organizations within a few hours - even if the system is low traffic and worthless. Highsec islands that are separated by having to cross lowsec are not fully poco'd yet, and are just being cherry picked for valuable planets. At the current rate I would expect people to fill them in shortly.
We do know that there are shadow organizations that are planting poco's across many diverse corporations to disguise their gradual monopolization of empire space. We have been in direct contact with a few of them. We estimate the largest organization as controlling around 1000 highsec pocos spread between dozens of entities. To put that in perspective, there are only around 7000 planets in highsec. By the end of the campaign they'll probably control 1500-2000, and gradually wage war to take them from the rest of you. Sleep tight. |
