I was moving to a new station this evening and I warped into a system with customs officials, before I even knew what was happening a message comes up on my screen and I start getting fired at but the customs officials. I didn't have time to read the message but I went ahead and clicked yes thinking it would do something, they kept firing and I lost millions of ISK in modules.
I went to my logs and the message read as follows:
(question) Ammatar Mandate has discovered the contraband which you are transporting. If you decline to hand it over, your ship will be destroyed. Do not be alarmed, while we are waiting for your response, one of our number will target, warp scramble and stasis web you - for your safety of course.
Considering they were firing on me even before I had a chance to read the message, this system cannot be working right, this is further supported by the fact that I clicked yes to turn over my contraband supposedly and they continued to fire at me until my ship was destroyed.
I went to file a petition to have my items restored but there is not category that this situation fits in, what should I do?

There should be a "Reimburstment" category.

Yeah I filed it under "other" and selected reimbursement. Only thing is that takes you to the "ask a question" website and it takes days for them to get back to you
guess I'll just wait and see. No way though that can be working as intended.

Well, its the 2nd time it has happened to me. This time i was moving my entire assets and got ganked off customs losing around 700mill of mods and lots more bp's all because of 10 units of spirits.
Yeah I got my reimbursement but not the stuff from my can that people looted ie, 3 x local cargo expanders. It needs sorting.
