It would appear that Celest Apoc are using this exploit that CCP does not seem to care about.
So not only do Celest use stabbed up ships, they also have to use the local bug to remove any sign of themselves to gain any advantage over its prey!!!!!!!!!!!
So be careful when going into P3eN.  |

I would like to know more about this exploit, because several times i have entered local and F-E are accusing me of using an exploit, although i dont have a clue wtf it is.

Celest does not use exploits.
you must be confused with moving fast on instajumps as many before have you have experienced.

There was a thread on another section of the forum that described the exploit but the description where removed and the thread closed with comment that it was a known issue and yes an exploit. Hopefully it will be fixed with the Blood patch.
Now this does not mean celest is using it just that it does exist.

Hmm I didnt saw your post .. Is there some sanction for using it becouse I have suspision about one very known corp using it (:

F-E petitioned this 'exploit' when we saw someone in NBSI do it, and we were told by a GM that it was not an exploit, but may be fixed in the future. We asked how it was done, and the GM informed us. This was then posted in alliance mail.
That's where the accusal springs from, people assume if one person in an alliance does it, everyone does.
OTOH, knowledge is power, and I'd rather have this used by me than against me, so I'm not going to spread this tactic around, myself.

The effect is that it removes your name from the screens of those who already have local open - those opening local anew will still load you. I kind of like the idea, it adds a bit of belt combat to the 80% gate, 5% POS, 10% station, 5% safespot warfare we see now.

Yeah GM say this isn't an exploit, but they also say that they won't make an annpuncement about it because it is an unintended feature. Its lame that people will use this, but if you are as **** at combat as celest then you need all the help you can get.
