After request from the wonderful and caring EVE Community we have activated the PLEX for GOOD charity program to assist with relief efforts after the devastating events in the Philippines.
As part of this PLEX for GOOD drive we will publish a CCP Charity Live Stream on December 7 from from 13:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC at http://twitch.tv/ccp. Included are live roams on Tranquility, dev duels, a danger game session and ... several pledges by CCP devs!
Check out CCP Bro's latest dev blog about the PLEX for GOOD Charity Live Stream.

Very happy at the turnout we've had for this.
The incursion communities especially have done a great job raising money!
Recommendations:
-bring back the Jukebox!
-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)
-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)
-less focus on graphics, more on mechanics |

I did Taekwondo for eight years and won many awards. My last match before I quit, ten years ago, was against the guy I've now challenged and who's been mostly active since. It was the finals of the Icelandic championships...I got the silver.

So while I was moaning about the huge delay in announcing anything to do with a drive to help after this disaster, and honestly thinking you weren't going to do anything because it would hurt your finances, you were organising all this.
CCP, you may make some stupid decisions, but in this instance I was wrong. Sorry about that. |

I've been trying to run a particular scam which, if successful, will pull in ~8b ISK profit which I will use to fund 13-14 PLEX for the drive. No luck so far but hey, I'll keep trying.

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.

And you guys allow laundry or plex for rl cash and support scam sites on you're game which is definitely an out side source brought into game? Kinda fishy there and I am for sure they make tons of real life cash from this as well. |

There should be the option to remote control a paintball gun. One plex donation gets you one minute on the gun.

Also a lot of PLEX's are converted GTC's. Which most of the time cost cost less than PLEX.
Add into that Tax's, the fees that go to GTC Sellers, etc.
If CCP is making anything off of this, it might be a cent or two.. but for sure they are right around the breakeven point. Plus I'd be willing to be CCP Corp will be making a donation ontop of what the players donate (or at least I hope they do) which will more than change the tipping point. |

Just a suggestion, but if CCP Rise was to get shot with the paintballs, you'd probably see even more donations.. Given recent events with balancing Missile Launchers, and his comments on nerfs to the Serpentis line lol
I do wish we could get a running update on how we are doing..
Even something as simple as adding a line to the CCP PLEX for Good characters Bio listing donations as of the last time it's checked for the day.. |

Because the new animation doesn't add anything to gameplay and it's graphically annoying.

I was one of the lucky 2500 who witnessed it on twitch, and I salute everyone at CCP for running this drive, and for the tremendous effort that it took in organizing this awesome finale.
A special salute to CCP Dolan for going through with his pledge, despite obvious suffering. The spirit displayed by all devs, including CCP Gargent and CCP Mimic, was just what the drive needed.
The dev roam was great fun, and the Dust match nearly got me started on the game (need a mouse).
Can't thank and appreciate all of you enough!

Couldn't have said it better myself. It was funny, once it was done I felt a little bad like 'wait you taking my new friends away!'

Thank you to Mimic and the Crew that took the cut. I missed the event as I was tucked away in bed spewing every couple of hours due to my Chemo. I'm just short of a year now with AdenoCarcinoma, a form of Lung Cancer, which will kill me sooner or later. Hopefully later. While one could complain about only living for a year or two with Cancer, I was initially told I had, at best, two to six weeks and maybe ten at best by the Spec here in Bradford, Yorkshire UK. I'm on my fourth treatment coming up on Friday of the second set of Chemo rounds. That's a place not many make it to. I face my Cancer with the same stupidly stubborn resilience that I faced EvE and it's myriad of personalities with. It works for me.
Thanks for the Hair even though my own personal vanity is lacking. I'm sure some little girl is gonna love it and hopefully no one who doesn't really need it takes it.
Thank you again Mimic and CCP.
