1: ASCN did not start this thread, wo therefore isn'tr really responsible for someone else claiming that a Titan was in evidence.
2: Multiple people from ASCN have told you what it really was, and even posted a screenshot with lots of snowballs on it.
3: I love people call this propaganda, when we didn't start it and basically find the whole thread amusing seeing as there are so many people ASSUMING there is a titan, without anyone from ASCN seriously saying that one even exists.
Did I say you did or even mention ASCN? I don't believe I did thank you.
But while we're on the topic....

i couldnt find him overview was kinda overloaded
here's a tip to spot if we have titans though, you'll see cyvok pimping his brand new ship around jita and 2200+ ascn's green of jealousy because theirs is still cooking

Just had a blast reading this thread, perfect example of how easily 90% of eve-o readers can be fooled in believing any kind of sh*t.
NO there is no Titan! YES it was a huge snowball fight to test server lag.
Omg are the ascn spies on strike today or something? Pff...

No, but we're still wondering where you got the whole propaganda line. Just what about his whole thread is propaganda? That ASCN now has a permanent case of blue balls?

Think a lot of people will find this as their new problem. There was quite a few people who said lag for them was terrible where as others said there was none. Time for people to start upgrading their own hardware! |

Strange thing : i got a dual core athlon 4200+ and a GF 7800 and still i had trouble keeping up :/
I think its because i ha just updated my windows to sp1 (curse you bill!) and it made me lose a whole lot of performance everywhere on my pc from booting up to playing eve both in station and in space.
Ofcourse all the dual core patches require SP2 which will bleep my system up even more : don't you just hate it

Actually you don't loose any performance by using servicepacks. I tried and benched and it doesn't affect your framerate at all.
Performance for me was ok. 2.66ghz A64 and a 7800 GTX here. I had 2 clients running and both were fine. No amazing high frames when zoomed in but playable and above 20 FPS when zoomed out.

A few weeks ago we did a "rookie ship" competition in Goonfleet where everyone got in velators and ibises etc. and shot each other up, last man standing style.
Of course, that showed up on the map as 200 ship kills in the last hour or whatever, and we had reporters come into system, someone started a thread on the boards, etc. . .people are too quick to jump to conclusions.

One thing's for sure - those folks who complain about ASCN blobs obviously don't realise that they are actually talking about small strike forces...
...believe me, when ASCN blob or camp you... - you'll know about it. :D

Maybe not on yours but it sure did on mine (loading the eve dir for instance took around 5 seconds to load to chatlogs) : good thing i have system restore

My computer is still recovering from the strain. Most people who were complaining about lag can't distinguish from low frame rates and actual ping problems. Even with my frame rate hovering around 2fps I could tell that things were actually not that bad the lag is far improved over what it used to be. Now if only my computer would stop crashing when 200+ ships suddenly appear on my screen.
