Kelishnikov	Posted - 2006.02.27 10:53:00 - [1] The UCC were long term friends of IRON. We were also friends of NBSI. We were in the process of moving to the far NE to aid in the fight against FE/5/ect. While in the middle of moving IRON/G made thier 'Northern Cleansing' announcement. Our alliance with NBSI and our move were already in the works, they were not a reaction to the IRON/G announcement. Diplomatic talks between myself and IRON yielded no results. Consequently, the UCC will be fighting our old allies IRON/G, as well as 5, FE, ect. Kelishnikov UCC Politics Director Official announcement over.......you may now relentlesly spam this thread with useless comments, smiley faces, and ridiculously large signatures.

I saw no other way to avoid negative standings. The timing was a big shame for UCC as they had planned this for a while, but in the end they did choose to move, so brought this on themselves. They moved from thier stable home in pureblind, to something that had more potential but alot more risks, and lost alot of friends on the way. They will either become better, or fail miserably and probly disband. Respect to them for taking a chance.

Good on UCC, enjoyed the fights with you more so than all the other alliances round there. Mainly because you brought it without HUGE blobs, got my respect for that. Also respect you for the fight the otherday where you lost a Raven and Maller and killing a Ferox. Suprised you chose to tank the sentries though as i spent about 45 minutes looking through the belts to get you. Shame Noah CTD, shame the inty got a lot of the loot from your can too. Still got about 14m worth of loot which isn't bad, better than what i usually get from battleships. The war we had with you was a little quiet. Enjoyed it when you brought a force though, enjoyed every battle we had. Good luck with your move. I am sure we will fight more in the future though.

While im relatively new to the corp/alliance I have got to say you guys deserve props too. Its refreshing to meet small ship squadrons with other small groups head on. You guys would fight + or - a few ships, as we do, and don't need to blob to win. Some of the best engagements I have ever fought have been with you guys. Theres an old chinese proverb, saying or whatever they call it over there. "The courage of your enemies does you honor.." ============= As far as the whole political thing, im not about all that. Im sure theres folks that will speculate on what we as an alliance can or can't do, or why. But guessing about things I don't know anything about, thats not for me. Its not the winning or the losing its the taking part. Also why does being the "weakest alliance" mean people can't be freinds with them. There is more to eve than palling up with the big alliances. Remember small alliances would and do get shadowed by the biggest alliances when that happened. Like some people don't know UCC. I know them because i opperate in and around some of their space. Though they will be more known now than they were in Iron's shadow. Good on them, nothing wrong with being the underdog. Nothing is expected of you so when you achieve somthing it makes it all the better. They had my respect anyway, but i can't help but respect them more following this decision.
