As president of the VAERT ISK to RL donations cash charity I was going to forward a donation to the charity itself, but now I am before two choices:
- Don't do anything, forward to VAERT and keep telling people to keep sending to VAERT and get some e-peen thousand $ display value to attribute to VAERT success when the donation drive will end, gloat about having done things to start this whole new CCP drive and blah blah.
- Choose to actually do the best for RL Philippinos and thus divert donations to VAERT to THIS initiative instead. Because each ISK donated to VAERT could lead to 1 more PLEX = $15, but each ISK donated to this initiative could lead to 2 PLEXes = $30.
Without exitation I want to go for the second choice.
But before I actually send a donation over here and also tell VAERT's Donors to send their ISK here and not to VAERT, I'd like an official statement about how much of the allocated 1 trillion is still free.
Because if I understand correctly, past 1T the doubling would end and then VAERT would become my priority (as I am also allocating things on more than 100% input donation to above 100% output PLEX donation and therefore VAERT would return being the more efficient choice.
TLDR: how much ISK out of the 1T pool is left?

If I donate these to you i.e. this drive, you'll match this donation with 12 plexes? Or will you estimate the ISK value of these plexes are worth and match the ISK?

Oh, and 2 trillion is not a small amount..if it is the latter I feel that some people might jack up the price of PLEX for profits... |

Who ultimately decided for us all, has been a class 5 hurricane. Go argue with it  .
There have been a number of persons whose names I won't make, who further sensibilized CCP about starting and hurrying up with this initiative. Regardless of the reasons that drove those persons, you could have two scenarios:
- Do nothing.
- Do something.
I go for the second, even if 80% of the donations went balls up, even if those who drove this initiative on CCP's head were the worst intentioned sons of a *beep* it's still going to do more good than "Do nothing".

I will not reveal everything to avoid just as you said, jacking up the price, but some will be bought later, some rather large stacks of plex are already aquired before this was announced and parts will be bought privately from big "sellers" that are generally lower than market.
