I wouldn't donate a single isk until this is confirmed legit by CCP.

CCP know who you are. CCP know what you want. If you are feeling ransomed, you don't have to pay. But what CCP do have are a very particular set of skills; skills they have acquired over a 10 year long space-career. Skills that make them a nightmare for people who scam PLEX4GOOD. If you donate ISK to Chribba now, that'll be the end of it. CODE will not look for you, Marmite will not pursue you. But if you don't, all will look for you, they will locator agent you, and they will biomass you.


Not only have CCP stated that they will banzor teh **** (paraphrasing) out of any P4G scams, but look at who the OP is - and the backer.

There isn't a more trusted party in EVE.

Probably some sort of scam involving the purchase of an overpriced stockpile of PLEX.

Unless they announce a set BUY price for PLEX, or their exact strategy for buying PLEX, I would classify this as shady at best.

1) Buy PLEX for 600m
2) Start the donation drive
3) Sell PLEX "to yourself" for 700m each with ISK from the donations. So basically the donations are funding a profitable sale.
