highs:
5x heavy missile launcher, loaded with apropriate missile
2x 250mm railgun I, Loaded with whatever ammo gives a 12.5% range bonus
mids:
2x large shield extender
1x EM amp
1x em hardner
1x thermal hardner
lows:
2x warp core stabilizer I
2x BCU or 1x BCU and 1x PDS
im saving money to get one of them, but i want to make sure the setup is decent. on the new TQ test i found a setup that tanked pretty well and this is a tweaked version of it.
what do you people think?
edit: im planning on doing 0.0 ratting (and mabye some PvP)

ok, first of all never fit wcs. They totally screw up your setup, you might as well warp to a safe spot if hostile enters system. Just look out in local.
This was my old ferox NPC setup:
5xHeavy missiles
2xRails, try to fit 250mm
1xLarge shield booster
1xShield boost amplifier
2xHardener,depending on rats
1xCap recharger, You might wanna change to another rat specific hardener if you have a really low resist against that damage type, but i find it good to be able to run the booster longer. If a cap battery will give you more than 15-20% more cap and you have fitting left to fit it... fit it.
3xPDU II
1xBCU
Not sure if this fits as i dont remember it exactly

mmk how about this:
highs:

i remember the tank on my cara em amp+em hardner+thermal hardner made a pretty well-rounded tank, so im trying to stay near that. if i had 1 extra mid i would fit a kenitic amp on it..
btw the first setup i mentioned has around 7k shield. it tanked a heavy nos domi pretty well on the server test.
if im doing PvE its thunderbolt missiles because id be fighting sansha, hence the concern about em and thermal resist, and the tank itself is pretty well rounded (64% em, 60% thermal, 60% explosive, 40% kenitic).

Sounds good although another em hardener would help more than the em amp. Basically though... experiment with the different seutps you can find on these forums(avoiding the really obviously crappy ones) and you can find what suits you best.

Sounds good although another em hardener would help more than the em amp. Basically though... experiment with the different seutps you can find on these forums(avoiding the really obviously crappy ones) and you can find what suits you best.

oh yeah when i targeted it (i was in a badger II) it freaked out warped away. i had just enough time to scan it(i think another part of you is gonna die).
edit: oops posted this on my insta making alt. oh well.
