I was told that the gold magnate was no more...:( but what about the silver one? And can any1 tell me how people got them in the first place?

I've heard their is still a silver one left, they got em in an event. I'm sure someone can give you better details.

If i recall correctly, they were handed out in the Amarr Champoinships a couple of months before I started. There was only one gold magnate and it was ganked not long after it was recieved. The few silver magnates left (I think there were three maybe) are sitting in a few player's hands that no longer play the game, and I think one sits in a banned acct's hangar. An ironic end to such fine ships.
I can't be entirely sure of this but from what I heard this is what I know of the fate of these fine ships.

There was one gold one which got destroyed, there where 19 silvers, dunno how many are destroyed. I know atleast several are still alive but mostly in collectors hands so i doubt theyll sell em.

saw one being flown through navula (excuse spelling) a few months back. was a few seconds off lock and prepared to lose my deimos to say i shot one

a member of the confed alliance had/has one. but that was over a year ago i say it
he has all of the special event ships i think. dunno if he still plays tho

My former corp gave its Magnate to one of our pilots... He still has it and takes it out for a spin on sunny summer days.
