So, how many are going to jump on the power of 2 offer? Alot of the vets I guess, a second character is never wrong. I will deff start one myself.
I¦m just a little curious what everyone is going to train their new characters for. I got 2 accounts myself with combat trained characters on them both so I dont need another fighter (or do I?). Cant really afford to pay for one more account full time so I¦m looking for something usefull that I can train on the new account and then transfer the character.
Thinking about maybe training a cov ops/freighter alt that I can use to set up jump in points with and afk hauling ships and stuff. A market and trading alt might be usefull also. Anyone got some ideas?

Make an industrial based char and then u can mine and build ur own ships to use with ur combat pilots.
Save urseflf a few isk here and there

I just signed up for one. Making a copy of my Eve directory for it as we speak 
I'm thinking dedicated Caldari pilot, so a fighter is probably the right word. Though he will be hauling for my main whilst I mine away, so that helps.

Very, very tempted. I think I'll buy a cov-ops alt, train whatever he lacks for cov-opsing, and then train him for hauling. Dno what I'll do with him after that. Maybe train him for the ships I fly so I can have him move my ships where I need 'em.

Isnt it better to get the power of 2 offer since trail accounts cant do that. Will save you some money.

You know you can run two instances of the same install at once? Don't need to have two copies taking up hdd space.

Just started this account. In december. The learning skills are almost done. So now the collective goes too grow.

I've just created my new account and started my new character.
My other 3 characters will keep me busy while this new one trains up. Lots of learning skills to be done first on this new one!

Started my second account earlier today and logged in with it about half an hour ago before the server died, Caldari Achura qwith 15 intel 8 memory 7 perc 6 will 3 char  Gonna turn this character into a fully fledged industrialist as my first account is a 10 million SP minmatar raven pilot running lvl 4 caldari agents

Amarr is the only race that I cant use yet, well one of my characters got skills to fly some ships and use tech1 lasers but thats not fun. Would love to try them out but then I would end up with 3 combat trained characters. Dont have enough time to play on 2 barely so 3 would just be a waste.

Enough accounts, but I think about to stop training my industrial char at some point to train one of the new bloodlines. My industrial char has borked attributes like 25 memory (incl. implants), but only 15 perception or so, so I see no real future for him, except being my mining+production slave. And soon he'll be good enough for that. Probably better to invest training time into a new char. Especially, because I like the look of the new bloodlines and want such a char.

I have 2 accounts atm and i will terminate my industrial one with the end of april (when next payment would be).
Eve is getting boring, after my adventures in highsec, low sec, and now 0.0, what else should i achive then running a large POS in 0.0 with lots of valuable Minerals arround.
To much work and eve grows and grows and gets more and more player who want to pilfer and make quick cash with your hard earnd minerals, items, bpos, whatever.
So i will terminate my industrial char and concentrate more on pvp - to adapt myself to the facts.
Maybee i will create a second char for pvp but i would buy one on the forum and run it via ISK - Timcard Purchases, i dont pay real money for this Game.

Its a good deal,
Its also a very clever one!... 6 months is just enough time to get all your learning skills trained, get several hundred million Iskies.. get attached to your character, join a corp and before you know it the 6 months is up and you REALLY want to carry on subscribing.
Then your caught in the trap!.. there is so much time and money invested into two characters that it would seem a waste to just stop.
with nearly everyone I know having 2 or 3+ accounts I really do wonder how many people do actually play eve, and how many unique subscribers there actually are

I wont be taking on this offer unless they give 10ish m skillpoints to a new char. All learning skills at 5 would be nice too, i would accept that too.
But then again i allready got 3 accs. :) I doubt ill get a 4th one unless some skill points come with the offer.
