We cann't to log in either.
Also u own to me 8 hour's of skill training cause of that fricking unable to connection i couldn't change it in time!

Your fault for not setting a long skill train, like they have always suggested before patchs/upgrades/updates of any kind. I can log in just fine on both accounts, and so cna near 20K other people.
In advance though, can I have your stuff?

They dont own you anything. Before patch's you set training of skills with long training time. Not doing so is your fault, not CCP's. And extended downtime for patching and updates is just to get used to.

Have you ever experienced a patch day before? Did you notice the "guide to patch days" posted that describes the fact that patch days never go as planned?

I don't know of anyone else who can't log in. As everyone I know can log in, this sounds as if it is your fault. Tried clearing your cache?

U don't need to know, this is a fact! And i already Uninstalled game off my comp, and installed client 3796, after i installed the patch 3796-3805, and after i doenlowaded another patc 3805-3976. (till that i had v.3807 on my comp and downloaded the patch 3807-3976).

Go Start -> Run -> cmd in windows 2000/XP, command in windows 9x -> tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ip of the eve server, don't know it off the top of my head).
Of course, if you don't know what tracert is, then you probably don't stand to gain much from doing it if you can't interpret the results.....

To those that like to demand free days when they cant log in, may I remind you that CCP has not charged you a single penny for any of the expansions they have released, if this was any other company you would be around (insert the typical cost of 2 or 3 pc game expansions here) poorer.

when they say "set a long skill" they MEAN set a long skill. like something that takes several days. or at least a full day.
you'll never regret training something longer than you needed to.
and if you didn't know... you CAN cancel or switch skills without losing any progress on that skill.

Exactly true,
Dont demand anything from CCP! This dev team is the only one that hasnt turned into frecking robots (ie. EA, blizzard, sony) they dont tell you what you want to play, they listen and they put the content in at the request of players.
If youve been robbed of anything, its roughly (.30cents) of game time. Respect CCP, dont talk down to them..

I'd rather see a test. Kind of like a driver's test. First you must be able to understand and use your computer, then show a basic understanding of how the internet works. You know, basic stuff like how to start a command line or how a packet bounces from point A to point B.

Probably your firewall? Windows XP has a firewall by default. If you do use another firewall, then you have 2 firewalls in your system. The EvE executable has changed. Take note of the new icon too. Just add EvE to all of your firewalls settings.

I d say 95% sure its your firewall.
Mine asked me to allow CCP Blue Framework.
After allowing that and restarting EvE everything worked fine.

Any time there is a patch I make sure that I have a skill traing thats AT LEAST 2 days because you never know whats going to happen CCP owes nothing to anybody anyone that thinks so should quit playing MMO's. Patchs, hardware upgrades and Hotfixes go longer than expected about 80% of the time in any game. I have never played an MMO that has less down time over all than EvE and MMO's that I have played:
Ultima Online, Everquest, Everquest II, World of Warcraft, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI, Silkroad online, Knight online, City of Heroes.
And over all CCP has outdone every developer I have dealt with
