Is there reason why they added 10hrs to delete 1 char!?
Come on!! no other games has a 10hr delete timer, what makes this game so special.
"MAKE THIS GAME BETTER TO PLAY" Remove the 10hr Limit, or at least reduce it to 5hrs..

They didn't add anything, it's been that way for a long time. I think since launch, I was there, but it's hard to remember that far back.

Scenario 1: "Oh man I'm drunk!" Deletes character. Next day "Oh noes!" A petition is created.
Scenario 2: User gives password to boyfriend. User breaks up with boyfriend. Prevents ex-boyfriend from instantly destroying user's characters.
I could go on...but I don't see the point. This is not a new feature.

Afaik the timer is there to stop recylcing alts abuse.
Think suicide caracals in high sec and then consider why this game needs this timer.

Im just guessing but I am assuming the time delay might be to keep that small number of people who would spend an entire week creating an alt moving the 5000 isk to their main then deleting the alt to make another to do the same thing. And before somone says nobody would do this I have a friend who would spend every waking hour for a week to do so

it doesn't hurt the game to be unable to instantly delete characters.
BUT with the bloodlines patch, IMO it wouldn't be bad for the next week or two, to have a option where you can immediately destroy an alt (say it can only have <2m sp or something, or maybe has to have 1/5th or less the SP of the highest SP character on the account... or something.)
just SOME way that people can quickly delete junk-alts, as a one shot thing, to try out the new bloodlines.
also imo you should be exempted from the 10 hour wait, on the test server.
