Iirc (and I probably don't), she was largely responsible for WiS around 2008, but moved over to the WoD part of the company some time after since that's where the bulk of the Carbon character development was being done. While her leaving coincides nicely with the release of Incarna, I'm guessing that it was more to due to them scaling back the WoD development.
Suggesting that she left because of GÇ£creative differencesGÇ¥ over how the project was going or because it was already clear that it would be scaled back is largely determined by how much stock you own in aluminium smelting companies.

That's because most people are out playing the game and creating their own content instead of asking for CCP to create content for them. The WiS crowd is a special exemption to this.

Actually, WIS done right is just another tool and environment for players to create even more content.
Don't confuse the original concept with either the trash we received nor the moronic assertions of what it would be put forth by those that don't want it to begin with.
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Last story I heard of TomB is that he started work on some super secret project, like 6 years ago. About 2-3 years ago he supposedly came back to work on EVE, but instead of re-doing game design he became a crappy code monkey.
It might all be a lie though  |
