If you cant dock these guys, what do you do with them when you want to switch to another ship?

Ahh, I didnt realize you could dock a dread...but seriously, what the heck do you do with those ships? Seems that all you can do is logout. :) I would hate to just leave it there sitting in space for anyone to take down if they wanted.
Not that I will ever be able to afford one.

I agree with that, but the fact remains that the pilot with those kind of skills will also want to do something OTHER than fly his Titan. How the heck does he get to another ship, and what does he do with his Titan when he is not flying it?

You can eject from ships. Did you really not know that?

If you wanna change ships when flying a titan, you warp to a Deathstar(POS) and eject. Just make sure you can easily jump back in it and get it out if something nasty should happen like a hostile dread fleet jumping in

Uhm, store it in a capital ship maintenance array? I'm not sure anyone is really gonna know until someone has one of these things... which is gonna be awhile.

only use a pos or outpost to dock a titan or any capital ship , with a construction array.
and yes they only can jump by jumpdrive they cant use jump gates
