I have also Just returned , actually I returned 6 months ago deleted my old characters and created this new character but found the game had not changed much or I had not changed enough spent a couple of days in game and left. Kept an eye on eve I know from many others that have left that even today I still get emails from them discussing some eve aspect or other. Anyway, Rubicon comes out and I think to myself letGÇÖs give it another go but this time, letGÇÖs not get any prima donna ideas about my old character and how good I used to think I was letGÇÖs just try to learn what the game is now. So I have picked up this character again with about 600k SP and joined a good relaxed corp which asks nothing of me and also contains a knowledgeable set of players.
The adventure begins, if it works In 6 months or so I should be looking for other challenges. |

When I came back after my 2 year break I had literally nothing, an empty wallet, no ships, nothing. I played my way up to a decently full hangar and had some fun and then realized I had my most valuable asset still, my character. Sold him, managed the isk from that sale upwards by a few billion over a couple days time, then bought this character. I made enough to keep me in ships for a while and not worry about losing them.
There are ways to come back from having nothing, that's one of the things that is so great about EVE. |
