On November 20th CCP answered the calls of the EVE Community to once again host PLEX for GOOD in aid of the natural disaster in the Philippines.
This Dev Blog rounds up the results and gives a little more detail with regards to the PLEX for GOOD drive. You can also check out the playlist for the live stream on YouTube here.

In the beginning of all of this, we had so many telling us that "it's just fake game money", "it's little and irrelevant".
I always loved Philippinos, because they are some of the best mannered and generally just nice persons I have met in my life, it just feels right to go to far lenghts to help them as much as possible.
A good BRAVO! to all the "evil, hearthless, scamming scumbags" who play EvE!

I was asleep during the livestream event /sigh, but I flew as a part of the TVP initiative for PLEX for Good. Everyone not just our incursion bunch put in a simply mind blowing effort - its just amazing.
191,000 USD... thats a huge effort for a single online gaming community, a community not made up of millions but a pretty small but, while we may not feel it at times, close knit community. Busy griefing the heck out of each other one week, shining the light of hope, generosity and humanity the next.
Awesome effort everyone - CCP and the players!

Well... what do ya know... EVE is real.
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

I have received requests from some Donors if I can send them the T-shirts due to their donations and I am sending them. They have just to ask and provide the exact date and character of the donation contract.

Personally, I participated in the SuicideGank4Good effort, which raised 109B ISK. This was lots of fun. Its amazing what can be accomplished when we work together... to blow up high-sec Orcas and freighters. Thanks to Monk et al for bringing the high-sec PVP crew together for this important humanitarian relief effort.

Our Ethos (fundamental values peculiar to a specific person or people) is proven in times of tragedy. We are part of small community which has a Big Heart. We live in the same Home - Earth, yet some of our neighbors perish from numerous miseries that could be avoided, mostly. What was done here it is an example, most people live indifferently in the world which surrounds them. It is easy to think the problem of the others is caused by themselves and someday things will get better due a divine intervention or the natural course of things. Even in a game which explores the limits of GÇ£moralityGÇ¥ in all different directions - as stated in EVE News site - there is room for benevolence.
