Uhmm, doesn't a Domi's drones do 300% more damage then a Typhoons?
The Typhoon gets no bonus to drones so it's 5 drones are just 5 drones. The domi's 5 drones = 15 in terms of damage output due to bonus's.
(or am i smoking something :o)

Drone int 5, 100% damage bonus to phoons 5 drones = 10 drones.
From there, a domi gets a further 50% damage boost.
Ahh right, knew i was missing something.
So a Domi does 50% more damage then a Typhoon (via drones).

6 heavy nos 2 med neuts
3 hypnos multispecs 1 20km
2 large rep IIs, 3 hardner IIs, energized adaptive II, rcu II
I think i'd go with the Domi, 1 more mid for EW and 50% more damage.

Well then what about the 4/4 setup with autos? That prolly does similar or more damage than a domi.
Would like to see how much dmg it does but i'm sure it's close to if not more then the Doms. I'd go with that phoon.
It would come down to the sensor strength really - who would get jammed more - if its the phoon he would be in trouble as the domi may well be doing damage the entire fight.
Well thats a pretty narrow point of view if you're only considering the phoon vs a similar fitted domi. I'm looking at a broader view, tank/dmg/ew vs a set of generically fitted ships.

Hypnos Multi = 72 energy for tech II levels.
4x with IV in Dispersion
Apoc = 74%
Geddon = 80%
Raven = 70%
Scorp = 66%
Tempest = 76%
Phoon = 78%
Domi = 70%
Mega = 72%
Just for 4xECM II refrence vs other battleships. BTW just my opinion Tempest make better vampiric/EW setup than Phoon. More utility :)
