I think you should tell your corp. They trust you to move it so atleast you could to is let them know that you didn't make it there. But again like noted earlyer if you were transporting all that stuff why not have them guard you??? |

So, um, you bought the CCP line that those new fangled transports were somehow actually worth a dam$ :)
Really though, with a war dec out there, moving alot of valuable under the corp tag is kind of stupid. Really stupid in fact. Get someone else to move it as in an alt in noob corp with a tanked BS or something. Even retards ganking in 1.0 sec space won't bother with that.

First of all, in a certain profession there's no such thing as a coincidence. And what you described sounds like such a non-coincidence. You might have a traitor, turncoat or just an opportunist in your corp who benefitted from the theft directly or indirectly. Or just did it out of spite.
And, as have been said several times, you really should've had escorts.

You should be moving blueprints in a WCS interceptor.

No, actually, they're basically invincible to all but the most dedicated interceptor packs in empire.

I reckon your thinking those bm sellers are looking cheap right now.
You made the same mistake as many in this game assuming the worst cant happen it does and more often than one would expect.
Hauling anything worth a lot to you should be done in something fast with bms.
As for corp fess up, some of you corp mates may consider that perhaps that they should have been around to help you move.
GL, you can always rebuild. Its always faster the sedond or third time around.

Originally by: Eternal Fury All I can say is, if you are transporting something that expensive, you should have done it with EVERY ONE of your corp mates with you in their combat ship.
Sorry for your loss, but that's the truth.
Well said.

I was once running something through FDMLJ and thought: well I could say to my corp oh sorry I got blown up when in fact I was not blown up.
Hence an alt posting this cowdung to see if people here smell it for what it is so it could be presented to members of his corporation who will likely respond just like we respond to it here.

well 50/50 chance of a spy or you being a corp thief.
personally I would kick you as s nub for using a hauler while war dec'd. You should of left your corp then rejoined later. Anyway thata sside. I would also kick you for not telling teh rest iof teh corp of the loss right away. You obviously didnt anounce a war target is around in corp chat which means you put the rest of teh corp at risk.
Name teh corp that dec'd you so that others will knoe to watch for the spy tactic from them if they are dec'd by them. This assuming that you arnt a corp thief of course

Ouch chief, sorry to hear that..
I don't think there is any way around this but just letting your corp mates know what happened. It isn't your fault, or at least it doesn't seem like it ;)
Anyway, just need to get back on the horse and continue, it's tough having to remake hard earned money, but its the only way to go, mate.
Though, it does seem VERY convenient for those pirates, that they just "happen" to show up at that particullar time doesn't it? :)

If my CEO of a few weeks turned around and said:
"Hey guys, those folks that war decced us and yet we have never seen turned up for the first time last night while I was the only guy on line. By pure bad luck I happened to be moving all the corps assets and I got ganked."
Now I have been known to wear the tin foil hat every so often but I think I might find my self thinking - "Hmmmm, Wonder if my ceo has any alts or dodgy mates" -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

Meh....If I was ever to steal from my own corp, I'd just do it, and run. Why would you want to stay in a corp that you have so little respect for, that you lie to them about dying. The corp will probably be crippled by the loss, and a thief would not bother staying.
So, if you ARe a thief, congrats....you just made 1/2 Billion ISK.
on the other hand, If you are serious....ouch...thats going to hurt your corp, and it will probably split up. Still, nevermind, you can always get employment in another corp. Just tell them, "Her, sorry, boys and girls, I just lost all our assets". The worst that will happen is they hunt you down and pod you repetively. If they do, just move far far away, where they probably wont bother following you.
Its only a game. Incidents like these add to the character of it. Write about it in your Bio, and make a nice character history.

Whats the lesson? Don't travel (Afk or not) alone while war dec or with current empire campers. Also never travel with a great amount of isk worth in your hauler!
And dude, tell em and be punished.

You didnt find it starnge that a corp kept a war goin for 8 weeks, that costs a good ammount of isk so they kept it goin for a reason, I would look to whoever suggested you move your opperations to where you was moving. You got a nasty spy in you midst. Kick em all and move to cal-provisions!!

When moving really really important stuff, stick it in a firggin cargo container and add a password..so if you go boom you will either have a few seconds to anchor it and come back later to get it, either way your stuff will be safe*.

Next time keep all your gold in a noob corp alt character ... no wardecs in there and when you have to move something just do it in the most private way possible.
You are not safe from a suicidal gang in empire but the your ods will become much higher

This post doesn't smell quite right and my spider-sense is tingling. It sounds as if it is written so that anyone from this corp will recognize it on purpose. It is also unnecessary is has way too much detail.
I am going to say that "Looktu" robbed his own corp and is trying to pass along the blame while keeping his corp happy. In 3 years of EVE, my spider-sense has never been wrong.
If the "mysteriously-perfectly-timed-return" pirate corp confirms his story here with a kill mail, I will eat my hat.

That, my friend, is a bastard. A really big bastard.
Not your fault, you were not to know, especially with never seeing them in the weeks of the "war"
Pick yourselves up, dust yourselves off, and get back to work. You can do it :)
Your corp shouldnt be too ****ed, just annoyed. Fly safe |

Ignoring the whole coincidence thing... I have to ask why did you have no escorts? You were moving 500m worth of stuff without a single ship guarding you.
That fact alone rates high on my suspect ometer.
