Imperial Academy, Chaven system
An officer with the insignia of Fleet Admiral carrying an ornate rapier steps up to a podium. Above him fly the banner of the Praetorians Imperialis Excubitoris and the crest of the Amarran Empire.
My fellow Amarrans, loyal followers of Empire and God all, we stand in a time of crisis, a time of decision.
The last year has seen much to gaurentee its rememberance as a time of trial. The Empire fought a war on its own homefront against the vile Blood Raiders, gaining victory at the cost of a world. We have suffered bloody incursions into our shipping as the Matari Terrorists attempt to undo God's Empire. We have watched in horror as an Emperor was assassinated in the moment of his triumph. It has seemed a dark year indeed.
Yet thoughtout the darkest portions of the year the forces of Amarr held, and now we shall rebound. With the help of the Amarran people, the tides of darkness can be halted agaisnt the light of Amarr. A new Emperor will be appointed, the Terrorists will feel the wrath of the Empire they have attacked and in time the people of Amarr will see peace.
The Praetorians Imperialis Excubitoris have long been one of the first lines of defence for the Empire. We have fought in battles from one side of the Empire to the other and always stood as a force blunting the forces of evil as they attempt to destroy the Chosen People.
Yet to continue to do this, we need pilots. In essence, we need you. God needs you.
To serve with the Praetorians is to serve the Empire. A tour of duty with us is to take your life and put it in God's hands as you defend the Empire against all who might come. It is to become a defender of the Faith, a guardian of the peace. It is to fight so that the civilians of Amarr do not have to. It is to become a hero.
Serve the Empire, serve God, serve your soul.

A well-organised, highly skilled corporation. And a lot of fun to be part off.
These guys got me interested in Eve again when I was close to quitting, can't recommend them enough.
Oh, and nothing will get you quite as hard as the "Golden Fleets".
