1. 3d avatar representation.
EVE is an odd game. So much detail is put into the character designer, but in the end all you're represented by is a lifeless 2d screenshot of a wonderfully detailed character that contains so much possibilities. It's sad because more often than not, your character becomes represented mostly by the ship you fly, which would be like being represented by the sword you wield in traditional MMO games.
2. 3d station interaction.
With a 3d character comes true station interaction. I spend 3-5 hours a day online, usually during the quiet hours before downtime. I probably spend a good 90% of that time simply spinning my ship around in the hangar. Give us true in-station 3d environments. I know this is first and foremost a spaceflight rpg, but that doesn't change the fact that most of us are stuck in station all the time. Like the avatar, instead of having the station services be 2d menus, give us real environments. If I want to refine, take me to a screen where there's a refinery. Make a lounge area in each station where you can see other pilots-- and when the sign says Girls Girls Girls, give us a real club!
3. Usefulness of tradegoods.
Since we're on the topic of girls girls girls, why don't we actually make those trade goods worthwhile? If you've built yourself a personal Minmatar or Gallente outpost, charge for admission to the club. Then hire some exotic dancers, and maybe pay some premiums on those damsels in distress that are now floating around without a home.
4. Planetary interaction.
Make some planets colonizable, like a Station or Outpost. Full planetary interaction (walking around outside) would turn EVE into a different game entirely, so lets try to limit it to mainly the same hangar/station service type interaction. Also, let this apply to only a few planets in 0.0. Make this cheaper than outposts, but make them destructable.
5. Planetary bombardment.
Allow Dreadnaughts and Titans to be able to bombard the planet from orbit.
That's all I have for now :) ____________________________ Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content - Cortes |
