1.Ships: (A)More ships at the cruser and battleship level. Especially the cruser level. But don't attach them to races, attribute there oragins to other things. (B)More ways to customize ships. An easy addidition would be regions of the exterior that can have custom colors applied. An impressive addition would be paintjobs (skins) that have to be purchased or earned. Your corp logo could be automaticly applied. (C)When ships get destroyed, they could leave behind debri that can be a hazard and/or be salvagable. Mostly for capital ships. Base this on the current cargo, a ship caring lots of missiles would leave more hazardous debri.
2. Careers: (A)More professions. Currently there is only 5, mining, production, traiding, pirating and bounty hunting.
3. Interface: (A)Add a visual to indicate equipment that you can't use because of lack of skills. Make the tooltip diplay the needed skills. (B)Improve the description of items/skills/everything. Many only have one sentance and are kinda vauge.
3. Combat Tactics: (A)Make ramming a viable option. And make approching something more realisting, as in stop before you bounce off of it. (B)Add point defense weapons. (C)Add decoy drones that attempt to take the locked target off you apon deployment, auto return if fail. (D)Add kamakazi drones, with a the payload being whatever you can put in them, like say 20 missiles.
4. Navagation: (A)Make the autopilot default to warp to within 5km. Also make the autopilot continue warping to the real destination/waypoint and not stop in the system your destanation is in. (B)A scanner module that lets you see every object in the system, not just your area. Make it take some time to scan, say 5 mins. This makes bounty/rat hunting easier, and running away/hiding harder. (C)Nebula and other anomolies that would affect gameplay. Such as a nebula that does kenetic damage, or that radar can't see into, or that make explosions bigger creating splash damage, or a star that slowly does thermal damage.
5. Recording: (A)An option to save the last 5/10/30 mins of activity to a log file. Later while docked, it could later be played back, with full camera control, and even saved to an avi/mpg at play back time. This would be usefull for reviewing battles or surprise attacks, after the fact.
6. Gameplay: (A)A simple event driven scripting option. Example: If a ship warps into my area and has a bounty then play a sound and display this message "WARNING! A ship with a bounty has just warp into your area!".
