I very recently applied to there open recruitment on the recruiting channell. I spoke with a recruiter for a bit then was invited to join a public chanell with 15 or so other corp members. I was asked alot of questions and also got to ask questions. Finally i was asked to send a screen shot of my character and my character screen to a hotmail adress. NP I complied. I didnt feel overly comfortable about supplying my personal info but I made sure to askwhat wouldnt get me hired before i sent this info. I figured sure big corp seem professional. I knew that nothing on the sheet would disqualify me I had met all stated requirements.
After 3 days of not getting my app aproved I logged back into corp public to find out how long it takes and was told 1 to 2 days. I stated this was the 3d. A recruiter checked my app to see if iacepted and told me i wasnt acepted. Why was my question? Seems my employment hx was too long. Ok i complained a bit, 3 yrs playing sure, its a bit long but anyway my gripe is: seems there collecting a data base of people alts and sp's. Now asking for my personal info should have been the very last thing in the way to getting me onboard. My employment history was there from the biggining. Very unprofesional and i spoke my mind and didnt even recieve an appology. Be carefull seems they dont have enough sense to play professional and make this the last requirement and beside a short employment hx wasnt part of the stated qualifications. Bad Practice :P

Your such a hick Angelus. Im stating its not good practice to get personal info untill last thing to verify what an applicant said said and theres more info on that character sheet like isk, cloan level and alt name. If to check skill points is all thats needed then the character sheet isnt needed just the one character profile. Your self esteem is low d/t the fact that u started name calling straight off. Too bad u think your your best thing since the tooth brush cause ya breath stinks..

This is not the character you applied with. Seems we were right to have second toughts.
Thats correct i spoke with the same person through both characters. Has nothing to do with anything because i was told that the decision was based on my character i applied with originally. You guys believe your so great. Bah. asking for personal information should be the very last thing asked for, not the first. That info on a screenshot is personal. If ccp wanted everyone to have it it would show on show info when u click a character screen. Face it ya did wrong. The decision wasnt based on this character. Hell this characters cleaner then the other. Hell no one even payed attention to this character. Hell i even gave this chacters name at a seperate interview and was again invited to send a screeny and the recruiter didnt even make the connection. When are ya gonna get it. Personal info should be asked for as the last thing in a decision. not the first. Thats plain wrong Idiots.

Capt fool. You fail to get it. Im not coplaining because you corp didnt let me join. Im complaining because of the way your corps recruiting practices stand. Why dont u send me your screen shot with your personal info. If its not a big deal mail it to me. LIKE I SAID> YOU SHOULD BE ASKING FOR PERSONAL SCREENSHOT INFO UNTIL THATS ALL THATS NEEDED TO MAKE THE DECISION. My case was decided on info that a screenshot wasnt even needed for. I feel i was mislead into sending that info based on thats all that was needed left to make the decision. But the decision was made based on info that the screenshot wasnt even needed for. That was wrong. Not that i didnt get into your corp. Vome on! Thats whats all this is about. Change your practice of asking for and obtaining a screenshot rght off. It should be last after all others things are looked aske.

Im glad to see someone with some professionalism has made a decent reply. Im not angered that i didnt get into your corp. Thats not my anger. My anger is based on the fact ,i let, what i consider, private info, go when it shouldnt have been asked for untill it was needed. That need should have been once all other aspects are looked at. If your recruiters would have said. Well contact for a screenshot once a decision has been made to acept u in order to comfirm what you have told us and to ensure your alt isnt a threat to us. Everything would have been fine. But ya see, who my alt is, is my personal information. A great majority of people dont go around telling everyone who there alts are. Some are pirates. Some isk makers for pirates ect. Thats just private personal subscribtion information. If the recruiter would have said. everything looks good send us a screenshot and well check it and approve ya i would have, but to have been asked information up front and have it not used for the decision. Thats what burns me. I dont know what ya do with that info. I was actually waiting for one of your corpies to spill it just to **** me off. Getting into your corp doesnt both me the fact that personal information was sent past the need for it thus the corp failed to protect my privacy in the application process ****es me off. In the US we have laws called hippa to protect personal info and it is personal no matter how its made out to look. I wanted an appology and wish u would change to asking last not first in the futre for personal info and i felt mislead by that whole process is all.

Oh please ya killin me with the hippa. I could give a hoot about it. Yes corps do ask for screenshots but like ive stated many many many times befor its the last thing asked for once youve been approved. actually a screenshot means jack. It can be altered in ms paint. Like i stated earlier i have a second account with a character in your alliance already so a screen shot means jack in determinning if your a spy or a bad guy. You dont get it either i dont care about if i got into the corp. I care because i was misslead and if i knew i had to give a screenshot prior to everything else being checked i would have said check everything else then if im ok id give one. Ive given one before as contigent to final approval not as a biggining package its wrong. Your not going to change my mind in the wrongness of there practice and im not going to change yours. The corps a large corp. id exspect some level of proffessionalism and respect for my private imformation. i got neither. I DONT CARE ABOUT NOT GETTING IN. eve has way too many corps. I do care about being led on to give up private info when its not needed for a determination till its pertinent. It wasnt needed and i recent giving it. One look at my hx could of ended it all by the recruiter saying sorry your hx is too long. I dont agree with the method but id live with it. But taking my private info when it wasnt needed bothers me. I have no idea whom its shared with or where it will go from here nor have i heard or had any assurances.. Get ahold of the concept. Or heh just send your alt names to me at [email protected] ill take real good care of em.

I really dont care about your allaince rejection of me. Why do u have to over and over and over point it out and stress it thats not the issue im making. God your alliance reallly is ignorant. I dont care my hearts not broken and i dont care how i look in these forums. I told the fool i would bring it up on the forums. It wasnt a threat i did. Just because i air a view i have doesnt make it wrong or write. Its my view. No one is going to change it but this alliance has to try and continue to try justify why i was reject. So what im not hurt i stated that. I feel an inust of a common sense procedure of morality was done why cant you idiots leave it at that but im certain youll post back in all your ignorance to what im saying anyway and try to convince the world how just and good yous are.. Lets see youll make some more justifications of what a bad sneaky person i am. How great u are and how just you were about not aceptimg me. PLEASE PLEASE why cant ya stick to the point. OH and i never threatened to bring this to the forums i state outrght i would and i did. People who know me and have been in corps i was in can justify that im always been helpful ect... so grow up and cut the reject justification. Im not trying to bash your corp either i am stating what i feel is a wrong practice. ok and da no kiddin no one twisted my arm thats a statement a 12 year old would make. Thanks for the few honest and constructive post and there were a few but you alliance fools just have to try and justify and bash me, for making what i feel, is my opinion of a wrong procedure and it wont change so leave it alone if u cant stay focused.

Thank you eric. Nice to see ya still going :). You hit it exact. That was my point not why i was turned down and yet so many nasty people so quick to bash me.The whole point was missed time and time and time again. Correct i felt my personal info was violated along with any respect for that personal info. Thank You
