Ok heres the deal, back in 1994-96 (cant remember) I saw this awsome movie. It was AWSOME.
The thing is that I saw it on a movie festival and during that festival I didn't get much sleep because I saw movies non stop for 3 days, so I couldn't remember the name of the movie.
the soundtrack of that movie was really something special, in fact it was so special it kept playing inside my head for more than 10 years. Yeah thats right, try having a song inside your head for 10 years!
But today is a milestone. I got to know the name of the movie, and the soundtrack. Today I am free after 10 years of hell.
SO BEHOLD THIS IS A MOVIE THREAD!
Post your retro movie recommendations here, movies must be +10 years of age at least.
Since I'm the author of this thread ill go first, and ill recommend you the movie I had in my mind for all these years.
Dario Argentos Susperia
Now go go thread, lets see other forgotten movies out there worth seing.

Upon reading that The Last Starfighter (1984) was apparently the first movie to use CGI to render entire structures etc, I went and watched it again the other day for the first time in about 15 years.

Since someone once answered my question of finding the name of a movie i had seen but couldn't remember the name of in like 15minutes. I have another one for anyoneup to the challenge.
It was a fantasy film that i saw as a kid and all i remember about it was the fact that the main guy had a sword that had three blades. In fact for the whole movie he was pulling daggers and all sorts from it.
Go on eve community i challenge you once more

YES! thank you its been pestering me for awhile - gonna have to order it now to laugh at the cheesyiness.
Jacobs Ladder - (Watched this a million times growing up) Transformers the Movie - (enough said Optimus Prime dies WTF) King of the Kickboxers - (or whatever it was called brilliant cheese) The Thing - (brilliant movie, gotta love John Carpenters generic soundtrack - he pulls it out for all his movies) Akira - (This movie changed how i looked at the world - a completely suberversive masterpiece) Andromeda Strain - (Alien virus threatens the world - great movie) Jackal - (classic) Battle Angel Alita - (brilliant movie - the bit at the end when he almost gets to the city was great) Alive - (mmmm fava beans would go well with this) Ferris Buellers Day Off - (cant believe this hasnt been mentioned) Beetlejuice - (Theres a one off film you wont see the likes off again) Starchaser: Legend of Orin - (Did that cartoon guy just swear and kill the other guy - my gawd he did)
I could name a hundred but i would be taking them more and more from the nostalgic cheese fest list that i covet so dearly.
Since you guys are on a role i have another movie i watched as a kid and cant rememebr the name of. It was a cartoon (i cant remember if it was Eastern or Western) All i know for sure is that there was 3 giant robots (quite crap looking) and the were Red, Blue and yellow i think. <== the toughest challenege yet by far
