Ok heres the deal, back in 1994-96 (cant remember) I saw this awsome movie. It was AWSOME.
The thing is that I saw it on a movie festival and during that festival I didn't get much sleep because I saw movies non stop for 3 days, so I couldn't remember the name of the movie.
the soundtrack of that movie was really something special, in fact it was so special it kept playing inside my head for more than 10 years. Yeah thats right, try having a song inside your head for 10 years!
But today is a milestone. I got to know the name of the movie, and the soundtrack. Today I am free after 10 years of hell.

Since someone once answered my question of finding the name of a movie i had seen but couldn't remember the name of in like 15minutes. I have another one for anyoneup to the challenge.
It was a fantasy film that i saw as a kid and all i remember about it was the fact that the main guy had a sword that had three blades. In fact for the whole movie he was pulling daggers and all sorts from it.

Since you guys are on a role i have another movie i watched as a kid and cant rememebr the name of.
It was a cartoon (i cant remember if it was Eastern or Western) All i know for sure is that there was 3 giant robots (quite crap looking) and the were Red, Blue and yellow i think. <== the toughest challenege yet by far

It was actually a made for TV movie (mini series) that came out back in 1994 based on the stephen king book. One of my favorites.

The Stand was one of the worst things i have ever watched. It was like 9 hours long and nothing happened. The best part was at the very begining when everyone died. Dont get me started with the ending - the friggin lotto hand comes down to press the button on a nuclear bomb WTF 
Absolute drivel but then thats Stephen King for you. 100% mince.
Well maybe 97% mince he did write the Shawshank Redemption - Langoliers was pretty good too. Other than that hes a terrible writer and all the movies should be avoided like the plague.
I can't see why anyone would enjoy anything that man put his mind too - yuk

Isnt Dark Star a film about a planet bomb that decides to blow up when it wants too which happens to be on the ship, and that really funny and yet lame fight between those two dudes near the end?
Anyway my classic film choice is actually Return to Oz freaking scared me as a kid, tim burton is great for that darker side of films. That Rock king's side kick just freaked me out..

I remember watching that when I was a kid and I cried when one of the little robots was lost!
Also while we're remembering retro movies, does anyone know the title of this film? It was about time travel, and the machine was basically a bench that people sat on, but they had to put anything metal in a box at the front because that wouldn't go..?? and they ended up in a post apocalyptic future, with another machine in a hole in the ground that they could return on..??
It sounds weird, and as I was young at the time I didn't really understand the whole story, but I remember enjoying it.

My god man! No one hasn't even mentioned the classic 80's movie that rode the coat tail currents of the Star War's phenomenea. How could anyone ever forget the resemblance to the Maginificent Seven, the variations of alien species, the ship with huge *******! Of course, Im refering to none other but Battle Beyond the Stars. Of course, I was going through puberty then so I couldn't keep my eyes of that ship! Hmm....funny, I feel that way about my Megathron now.

sean connery and michael caine are a couple of british army buddies and conmen in India that decide to head north and become kings of Kafiristan, discoving along the way a lost city of alexander the great.
the cast alone makes this 4tehwin heh, doesnt hurt that it was directed by John houston either :D

ALTERED STATES Is it me or movies in the 80's went ultra high on dope to get ideas? A guy that travels THROUGH him in TIME so far so far he almost makes himself dissapear out of existence? FOr me my favorite scene is the Adam-EVE impersonation of them in some kind of tea table, all dressed in white with a big snake behind them, while they smile moronically in a bliss, then BOOM!!! Pretty Metaphoric.

Tod Browning's FREAKS ( Is still a bit shocking to modern people, even tho it was filmed a loooong time ago)
Prince of Darkness I just love 80's terror movies, they had weird ideas mixed with classical gore (Damnation messages from the future?)
Videodrome Another horror movie with the ultra awesome TV scene, and more weird ideas , a man that lives eternally thru thousands of VHS tapes? A dark raw satellite feed that leads you to a weird horror dimension? (this is 1984 we talking)

Logan's Run Up to this day, even tho the movie is so so, I still remember the Silver plated Robot ... Evil REM and his food cache.
Excalibur I learned Karl Orff existed thanx to this movie (the "you know the kewl excalibur movie music?" effect )
Demon Seed A Puter that impregnates a Woman? Man I loved the late 70's and 80's , they had all these neat new original ideas!!!
I could go ON and ON ... honestly all I am doing is looking at my DVD rack >:P <--- I'm a Horror-Sci Fi-Fantasy Movie Geek, and don't get me started on non US Movies from the 80's. For some reason In my country during the late 80's all I could see for free on the TV were those movies I mentioned to you earlier LOL. I'm still missing the names of a couple movies , so I could order them thru Amazon or somewhere like that, let's see if some of you ever saw 'em .
One all I remember is a group of people struggling to survive against HORDES of Ants, I mean, there's like 10 MINUTES of film where all u see is thousand of extremely WEIRD LOOKING real life ants getting smashed over over with rocks they had developed some kind of sonic system to destroy 'em, and it was a pretty old movie, perhaps late 70's, best part is that the ant smashing fest was with some weird groovy background music! wich was the sound of the sonic device used to kill them.
The other movie was about a guy that CLONED himself , he was a proffesor or something in a university, and the clone had the habit of killing people, and without a special drug (dont remember well) the clone began having the shakes or something and his eyes went totally white and almost out of his eyesockets, pretty gross.
Oh! and as a Bonus ... remember Porky's?

I thought this is one where he was doing regression drugs and laying in an isolation chamber, and he somehow de-evolved his mind to a more primative period during human evolution. (I remember him chucking a rock at a goat and hitting it upside the head at a zoo. And then he recalled what he thought was a past-life experience but in reality it was him killing and then drinking the blood of the goat.)
Some music video copied the scene where its at the end of the movie in the hall and hes de-evolving past a primative human and he's slamming his body back a forth against the walls trying to pull himself back to the present and hes all glowing red (in classic early 80's special effects).
Was it the A-Ha video "Take on Me" maybe?

Yeap that's the movie, but I remember the "Aha Take on me" Video, and it was mostly a cartoonish black and white video, hmmm . Can't really quite connect it to the movie itself , but who knows, with enough drugs like the one ones William Hurt was ingesting, you could prolly see they are connected on some deeper level  . Is it me or plain out odd, weird, freaky and totally psychodelic , dreamlike, spiritual movie mix combos had a huge boom in the late 70's and 80's?
