So assuming you made a new character and gave him the Prototype Cerebral Accelerator (+9 all stats for 14 days) and then the Standard Cerebral Accelerator for +3 all stats for days 15-35...
How many skill points would he end up with at the end of day 35?
And, is that the best you can do? Or does a new character get some other bonus as well?
I am asking because I am looking at the difference in cost in plexing a second characters ability to train and those implants and the time it would take to get to a certain point vice the cost of buying a new character that already has the skills.
Regardless of what skills, how many SP?
(Unless there is some calculator out there that will tell you this? But I know EVEMON only goes to +5) |

Well, the best split you can get is 27/21 with no implants,
So that's 41/34 with the +14's while training Cybernetics I which needs 750sp.
So you would get 58sp/min for ~13 min, then you could add in +3's making it 44/37 or 62.5sp/min for 14 days.
90k SP/day or 1,259,937 SP at day 14. Then you drop to using the Standard Cerebral and +3's so 33/27 or 46.5 sp/min for days 15-35. Which is 66960 sp a day
Total looks like 2,559,137 SPs on day 35 assuming you didn't train up to +4's (Cybernetics IV)
Anyone confirm this? |

Well, it matters to me because I want to see what the cost would be to train up a second character (while still training my first) vice buying one off the market.
It might matter to others who want to have an idea of how many SP they can get in that first month (as compared to the 1,890,000 they would get in the same 35 days with no implants or boosters).
And yes, SP is an I Win system where more is better up to the point that it lets you fly the ship you need, or have the skills you need, to accomplish your goals in game.
The nice thing about Eve is there is a point where, for a specific ship and fitting, there isn't more to train on it, but till that point, more is better by far when compared with not about to fly/trade/manufacture/whatever an individuals goal might be. |

As an example:
Perfect trading skills is 9,472,000 SP (for all 14 skills to V). So if I wanted a character with perfect trade skills, that would be:
35 days for the 2,457,414, and then another 115 days for the remainder (figuring after 35 days skills are +3's only).
So roughly 150 days or 5 months.
So now I know the timeframe and cost (whether a monthly sub or plex per month) and can compare that to the costs people are asking on the market for a similarly equipped character. |
