Hrm... using harvesters in a combat situation, you say?
Sounds to me like someone needs to start a petition for an exploit, since that truly is inexcusable (and likely to catch on ).

Quote: John, is to comment on something you have no clue about, is lame.
Try some battles with MANY ships involved.
btw... hand to all big corps who still fighting in these impossible conditions we have to fight in
I'll admit I have no clue - but camping the jump-in spot so that you can lock him before his loading-screen even disappears, simply seems lame to me. I don't doubt it either, since I just saw a screenshot...

I think its a shame personally.....
I know some of you guys out there are Great fighters, have the skills as a charcter and the skills as a great game player.... so why do people turn to cheap lag tricks to make kills
surely its not fun or entertaining in the long run? and er, not really in the spirit of the game?
A lot of you guys will be great fighters, so wont dont people fight within conditions of the game - True fighters who kill me or anyone i know get my respect, thats their role, and i know from first-hand experience that they do it very well!!
Otherwise i think camping at entry point intending to lag is about as much of an exploit as u can hope to perform.....

MASS suffered losses but, compared to the wealth of resources they can draw upon, it isn't as huge as people would think.
Still, it sucks.
Looks like a great day for the baddies.

WHY oh why did the devs make it so you now land in the same spot each time you use a jumpgate. It was obvious this would happen, it wasnt broken, but now its been "fixed".
Basically putting an exploit in peoples laps.
Pretty shortsighted there devs, please put it back like it was when it was "broke"
you shouldnt land in the same spot everytime for this very reason. its not fair play to have your ship destroyed by a bumnch of people sat there with mining drones, and being destroyed before you even have control of your ship.
Its just ganking.
Good going oh brave pirates, proving to us yet again what a bunch of exploiting muppets you are.

You don't. At least I don't. I travel the same route quite frequently and have done for over a month now. There seem to be two "jump-in" points from a given jumpgate in each system. It's not random as to which you come out at, it varies throughout the day. I don't know whether this is intentional or not but I know which point I will come in at just after downtime and I know that around 4 hours or so later it'll be the other point.
Likewise jumpgates do actually move around (a little). I use bookmarks to speed travel time on a sequence of gates (they're all "warp-in at 35km" gates) and depending on the time of day I will warp-in maybe 8-9km outside the jump radius. If that is the case then I know the "jump-in" point in the next system has alternated.
I see no exploit here really - CCP need to address the load/lag that lots of ships/drones cause. If they don't then fighting on any sort of scale above 1v1 is going to have some sort of problems.

i see myself in that screenie! today we have rocked a whopping total of 29 stain/fountain battleships...ouch. the funny thing is...we only lost 2...yes thats right...you heard me...2. Congrats to fountain on that....you need to step it up stain. i am posting as my sources indicate that fountain is pointing fingers as to who gave the order for 11 fountain battleships to jump the the A-1CON gate in YZ-LQL. This was the commissioning of a slaughter by Several RUS members and i. Yea thats right, you heard me correctly again. Our 10 battleships completely molested thier fleet of 11. Needless to say, none of thier fleet came out alive and we only had one ship whose armor was penetrated. Hope you can come play soon. j00 g07 |20x0|23|). told you to stick with me.

We had some early successes, but as I said at the time 'well done', the day was yours.
We lost some ships because we stood and fought against greater numbers - but I am glad we did that rather than hide in stations. Due to hard work and being in a great allience - all ships have now been replaced.
Still RUS you deserve to be able to crow about your victory here. It is sad you have to do it with such company - how did such a great Corp sink so low?

I remember when RUS members blew up j0rt and Ywev in their Dominix's, when Fountain was open to everyone and pirates rarely showed up (I realize the irony in me posting this), and when two cruisers held a whole region hostage at a little place called Mara.

pffff

Since the one guy you didn't get was the one with stuff we can't replace, I think we've already replaced everything :p
Yea, camping the jump in point with many ships and drones are lame. At a gate, at least you can activate shield modules before you get there. But I don't blame you. How does one say? "In love and war..." I guess everyone would have done the same.
But I do blame CCP. It's very obious that the current system of everyone landing on the same spot isn't working. I'd want that you land on a totally random spot. Not even close to a planet. A random (x,y,z) point in the system.
But as I've said earlier, Thanks for the fight. After not having a fleet engagement since when you couldn't dock while fighting, I was beginning to worry it would never happen again
