Seems we are having major lag issues tonight. Anyone else experiencing the same things? A few of my corp members are stuck in various systems......
Anyone else struggling?

yes, major lag (Verge Vendor)... took 15 mins to change to a new system and 1-2mins to move items from cargo to container...

whenever the number of users gets above a certain level .. i think it's about 5.5K users, EVE starts lagging badly. It's something that should be looked at, along with the other lag/loading issues that plague the players. Or is it that these issues aren't resolvable...?
4 months into retail is a long time for these major issues to go by unresolved.

Oberon players are having similar issues.
I find it odd, that today since downtime i have CTD on fice separate occasions. This following not havign a singel one for 2 weeks since they 'fixed' several server side issues, and then the sensor booster problem.
Last evening, late euro time, they reset the server for some reason, yet to be explained on the boards, I am wondering if the same gaping memory holes are causing similar issues again this evening.

They reset them cause they were simply useless. At one point you could NOT:
-dock / undock
-open show info
-browse market
-jump
or anything else... I heard a few players lost their ships in various circumstances.... watching your ship frozen in space and then logging back on after restart to see you back home in your station with a mail from Concord about your death and destruction of ship is rather annoying I can imagine.
Myself I got about 5 disconnects yesterday, either as a CTD or a node drop... really ****ing on gameplay.

Problems with Luminaire being unsafe although no warning given. Currently stuck. Multiple ctd's today and bad lag noted by a number of people in various systems.

in an unamed system, how long does it take to be un-stuck?
If I have to wait till down-time that is another night I am unable to play the game I pay for.

Stuck again ofcourse, every f*cking time I have a night off, reserved for gaming this happens. GAME OVER!

Yeah, totally unplayable for me out hunting.
Target NPC rat, wait 2 minutes, rat targeted.
Fire, wait 1 minute, guns start shooting.
Open can, wait 3 minutes, can opens.
Something's wrong, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Yeah, I'm stuck somewhere in 0.0 space trying to get through a gate. Not really expecting to have a ship when I get back, but I'd like to at least swap my skill training over

The number online may be a partial cause but it happens with far less online and continues even after only 2500 are online. This is not the problem. Take note of the time of day and compare to other days. You will see a striking similarity.
Me thinks the pipe is a lot smaller these days. Reduced months ago. With each OPTIMIZATION they try to use less bandwidth thereby reducing costs. Who can blame them for trying.

the whole of the forge seems pretty lagged up from where im standing, though it could just be me. :\
