OK the t2 Rage Torpedoes are not doing the correct calculations. I noticed it whilst testing after the last patch. My T1 torps of all types are hitting for more damage then my T2 Rage Torps. now i tried with and without a target painter and still the same result. So the calculations for the Rage Torps are way off. example. 2006.03.10 04:41:00 combat Your Juggernaut Torpedo hits Kirazk <SDX>(Raven), doing 203.0 damage.2006.03.10 04:41:04 combat Your Juggernaut Rage Torpedo hits Kirazk <SDX>(Raven), doing 175.1 damage. there is a 28 point dmg difference there and the resistance was 50% em and velocity of both vessels was zero. The t2 javelins are hitting for correct dmg and working fine. I don't know how to do all that technical jargin stuff so please don't ask me too. Also This test was on Tranquility server.Please anyone else feel free to do the test i would really like thier to be an explanation for my 5000isk torp doing less dmg than my 500 isk torp in the same situation.

Edited by: Kojima Masahiro on 10/03/2006 05:23:42 The rage are for large targets. T1 torps explosion radius = 400, Rage = 1000. It takes a much larger target to do full damage.
Battleships are 320-480. Dreads are 925-1000.

CCP have a resaon for everything u know
CCP: requested feature please - quite simple really.
For CEOs, days since last login details on all members in their Corp. this will help manage inactives and those that dont log in can be removed. |

i have a screeny somewhere with rage torps doing >1100 dmg each with 4 target painters

Max target painting skills, it takes 3 target painter 2's on most battleships, think it's 4 for min battleships.
They hit really hard against ships will 900+ sig radius.

Seems like a waste of effort when you can do 800 damage with t1 torps and damage mods (and get a better rate of fire).

Yep.
Turrets get faction +20%% damage amo. Missiles have to use gimped T2 amo.
T2 amo should be secondary effects, not damage. There should be faction missiles.
