Originally by: Nikolai Nuvolari Oh, and as a Caldari, I'm quite happy that they built the Crystal Boulevard: Originally by: The Crystal Boulevard Only direct-contact antimatter bombs could do the job, and even then it'd need enough antimatter blasts to end up destroying most of the Caille city district in the process. Essentially, you can't get to the bunkers without laying waste to the entire city
It's going to give us a damned good excuse to level the city. "How could you level an entire city of civilians?" *shrugs* "It was the only way to get to the bunker, sorry."
Hmm, i disagree Nikolai. If the place has been bolted down so well, whouldnt it be nice to have the place ourselfs? A couple Commando squads can go a long way to break the place open during a invasion.
((Cra.ck is a bad word? O.o))

Bit of moderation ere lads.

Loving the censorship in the forum of everything from "crack" and other assorted non-offensive words. But you willingly place a recognised cuss word in a chronicle for all to see. Please remember that the audience that views both the forums and the chronicles are one and the same, meaning if your censoring the forums to protect minors... surely you should censor the chronicles? ----- Memorable Quotes <Jarltan Dimtras> OH MY GOD MY GF IS A DUDE |

Shush fool, it's a small victory for those of us who dislike the forum rules on blocking words regardless of the context like cra.k. seriously, why is that word blocked?

Don't listen to these *waves arms dramatically* Caldari and Ammar commentators. They are displaying typical behaviour of their ilk, who have no inherent ability to think outside the constraints that their upbringings have imposed upon them.

Mmm, apologies, but ixnay. The request for background artwork from the Chrons has been noted by certain parties, however, and it has been a while since EVE got any new wallpapers...
And again, thanks for all the feedback, positive and negative (if we don't get criticised, how do we improve?) -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

A very nice read.
But can we please all agree on that the Amarrians isnt the Taliban?
Amarrians discovered warp technology first and they have good scientists etc etc etc. The whole 'oh noes primitive, evil Amarr vs educated gallente/Minmatar' routine is getting abit boring.
and not very inventive to be honest

Oh, I'm well aware they aren't the Taliban. Read one of my earlier posts, and read the part of this "chain" that's still fan-fiction, "Dam-Torsad the Glorious". It's all a matter of perspective, really. -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

"And I just hope to the Gods that we win. If the Amarrians take over the galaxy, we'll never get out of the resulting dark age."
I pity that misguided fool...
The Amarrian Empire is the longest standing testament to human civilisation in the traumatic and bloody history of mankind. Civilisations rise and fall - only the Amarrian Empire has endured and broken that cataclysmic cycle.
Individualism of the Gallente mode has been tried before and always ultimately fails, as it has no cohesive centre.
Yes the concept of 'freedom' would appear to unite the Gallente but ultimately the right of an individual to do as he or she wishes will always catastrophically collide with the rights of other individuals - and confict is the result.
Yes this can be managed and papered over for a time but it is not a strong foundation for long term stability. Eventually the *****s and the divisions will emerge, society will split and conflict will errupt.
On the other hand we Amarrians have created an Empire that has stood the test of time. We are a shining beacon of light in this dark universe.
Our system is centred on our worship and faith in our Emperor. This gives it great stability and allows us to face external threats with a united sense of purpose and cohesion.
It is no mistake that we were the first to rise out of the dark times and it is no mistake that our Empire is the longest standing civilisation in history. Our past is long and our future is bright.
It is a pity that this 'ambassador' clearly lacked the insight and talents required for his job. With diplomats of this quality it is not surprising that Amarrian/Gallente relations remain strained!
Amarr Victor
Gallente DO have a central cohesiveness...or whatever. Its the president, mostly, and the rest of the government, and the government has the rights within their central cohesiveness.
plus if the amarrian emperor gets killed you have to go through unnessescary bloodshed to get your new one. With Gallente, We've already picked our next leader, the vice president.

Quote: The Boulevard is really the shield for the security bunkers of the three governmental branches and the Military Command in case of planetary bombardment
*snip*
Only direct-contact antimatter bombs could do the job, and even then it'd need enough antimatter blasts to end up destroying most of the Caille city district in the process. Essentially, you can't get to the bunkers without laying waste to the entire city, and generally invaders who want territory want to try and keep urban centers as intact as possible.
So, basically what you're saying is that the federation government is using an entire city as a human shield, right? Really classy, and making them pay for it is just the kind of dark and twisted irony that is just astounding. But about on par with what I'd expct from your average evil empire.
