Amarrians discovered warp technology first and they have good scientists etc etc etc. The whole 'oh noes primitive, evil Amarr vs educated gallente/Minmatar' routine is getting abit boring. and not very inventive to be honest

So, basically what you're saying is that the federation government is using an entire city as a human shield, right? Really classy, and making them pay for it is just the kind of dark and twisted irony that is just astounding. But about on par with what I'd expct from your average evil empire.
