Relax. No one is taking your system. So don't get all riled up now. We want you to build your forces and confidence up a bit. No point in taking it and killing your confidence. An example of us keeping true to this spirit: That's why in last nights fight against your 20 man armor cruiser gang, the FC only wanted to kill 1 of your 3 logi and then go for DPS thus allowing your inexperienced armor logi pilots to gain confidence and skills AND allowing the fight continue for another 5 minutes. I know Templis is getting its feet wet with brawling doctrines so we didn't want to kill your confidence. If we killed off all logi in the beginning, then you would've bailed, lost some confidence and cried blob again despite it was us being outnumbered. But now, you got a GF. Our side got a GF. But most importantly, you build up the confidence in brawling. See how the JUSTK spirit of giving works :)

In all seriousness later TEST. I'd say GF, but you all suck. Sigh. You guys cant see the forest for the trees.. They came in, got fat of wallet, and are leaving. Exactly what they said they would do. Not quite sure how they "suck" for that... You guys are better pilots... but you didnt stop them from reaching their goal.
Maybe, maybe not. They made some isk, but from everything I've seen, not exactly a **** off amount. At varying times and between in-game/forum/other I've seen TEST announce a lot of goals, from making isk to generally getting better at pvp, and declarations of intent to take Gall home systems.
Eha was the most violent system in Eve outside of Hi-sec for the last week of October, the entirety of November and the first week and a half of December. Round the clock at a minimum 20 man gangs running plexes in one system is not "trying to make isk" its called trying to kick someone out, namely Galmill. There were fights in Eha where TEST, unable to deal with sniper Corms and Kestrels, resorted to warping massed numbers of destroyers in and out of the plex. The idea being we simply couldn't kill them quickly enough before the timer ran down. We would kill dozens of them and still lose the plex. Again, that is not about making isk or 'gf' its about taking an objective. Local spewed forth with combined BORG/TEST propoganda with FCs proclaiming Ehas fall before thanksgiving day.
Yet after thousands upon thousands of destroyed Calmill ships in Eha, I should swallow "hah we were here for isk"? Please
All good fun in the end, but I feel for the average line member of TEST. They could have used this chance to improve the average players ability, small gangs plexing around the WZ would have made them more isk and improved their FCs and players. Instead they settled for turbo blobs running one plex at a time in Gall home systems, neither the best way to make isk, or improve your pvp, so it was confusing all round really.
I mean, how does extreme blobbing of low-sec 'scrubs' help an alliance get ready for null? How was lack of isk what got them evicted from null in the first place? And Gallmill are supposed to have missed the forest for the trees? I'd be ropable with leadership if it was my alliance personally. |

TEST straight up ruined FW on the Caldari side for the last few months and I am so glad to see the door hitting them in the ass. With the exception of a select few they are terrible players with ****-poor organization and fleet command. This should clearly be evidenced by them going from sov alliance to FW alliance. This is the equivalent of Tom Cruise going from movie star to extra in a tampon commercial.
Furthermore, taking a frigate fleet into Eha and trying to run Bantam logi in a 12 man fleet... I've said enough. Gallente play to win, they play to kill, they play for fun. TEST plays to hide in novice plexes afraid to go fight and spam local with proof that most of them have less maturity then my 4th grade students. I've been on countless TEST fleets (simply because anyone that isn't in TEST who tries to FC gets 3 recruits that have been in militia for 2 days) much to my annoyance and the most common phrases I heard are; "We aren't leaving this novice to fight them we are only fighting things that come in" (mind you they have have at least 20 people inside and 1 dessie on the gate hoping for a fight), and secondly, "If you have a Yuri kill post the mail in local!!!11one". All the while I keep watching fleet member after member get caught and killed because they weren't with the fleet. 20 people hiding in a novice while a Slicer tackles someone and they are either so incompetent that don't go help or terrified that it's bait for a real fight and cower away.
On a final note before I finish this wall of text, one has to but look at the kill statistics to know the truth of the matter. Gallente has consistently gotten more kills per week with often times double the amount. To compound that, as of this moment Caldari has 9087 pilots and Gallente has 5007. Gallente is considerably more organized and not afraid to lose a ship that isn't a Kestrel or Merlin. If TEST is making so much money why are they so opposed to running a cruiser doctrine, better yet HACs, or if they really wanted to get some good experience for the FC's maybe undock some slowcats or at least a sentry domi fleet and go sit on the Nenn gates/undock? And I'm not talking about ihub flipping. Nobody does that in frigates for a reason. Personally I'm really pissed that TEST is leaving because I started the logistics of getting all my crap out of Caldari space a week ago so I could go join GalMil to pubstomp TEST and revel in it.
TL;DR - TEST was bad in null, bad in FW, and will be bad in Vale. Skills win fights and to do that you need to train members and FC's that know how to herd retards quickly and effectively. TEST doesn't have them and won't have them without major house cleaning.
P.S. to TEST - Spamming local is not effective for anything but making you look stupid. If you want to be taken seriously try acting like grown ups. Good riddance.
Seems legit
Good luck to Test they were good for faction war, especially good for Caldari millitia and their fleets kicked ass when they eventually managed to coax the Gallente guys out for a fight. |

Now in fairness to TEST + friends (BORG, Templis, etc...)....
I have talked to a few Caldari pilots and we both agree that the one problem with the bulk of Calmil balling up into one system (Innia) is that it actually ruined the multiple small fleet opportunities that occur at the 5-10 man size. No Gallente alliance or corp can take an entire coalition at the 40+ man size without advance notice. The irony is that so many Caldari corps moved to Innia looking for action, but it had the opposite effect. Spread out a bit more amongst multiple systems and you'll find better small gang action.
Speaking from the Templis perspective here for a moment. We still ran a lot of 5-10 man gangs. Those big 40+ TEST fleets had very little to do with our game, aside from one or two pilots who would link up with them occasionally (almost every single feet they had was open to militia). 90% of these TEST fleets would base their entire objective on going to Eha and fighting there. Our 5-10 man templis & friend gangs that we ran daily had to go looking elsewhere for pvp. Further, because 40 man fleets attract attention a lot of the times the Gal hot spots would be dead. So it still had a punishing effect on us although we did get a lot of good fights that way.
You also mentioned our cruiser fleet fight the other night Deen, and even though it wasn't the best on our part, I gotta say it felt good to have a real Calmil Cruiser gang (non-test) fighting a proper Galmil cruiser gang. I for one did have a lot of fun than I've had in a while. |

I think all of Eve will get a read on how this TEST EMP alliance will work out over the next few weeks.
Its unfortunate, that TEST did not heed advice that was given to them when they joined FW.
1. They were warned. Blob tactics don't work. FW doesn't see a juicy fleet and drop cynos on them. FW works in small roving bands and best when they are spread across the entire FW area.
2. Small Fleets setup with cruisers and support would get a Gal Mil response. Especially if they roam the fleet past the Gal Mil strongholds and Saturdays and Sundays. You could have trained lots of junior FC's in this way.
3. Blobing 20 frigs into a novice isn't an efficient use of your time. I can see now, that you have to basically buy the LP you were able to get and now wait until the markets re-set to really have your FW investments pay off. So sadly you need to start losing the war.
4. Finally I am sort of sorry that I missed it. The gate camps at Innia were predictable, but easily avoided. But that's beside the point. TEST. If you could learn anything from the experience is that you need to "hire" the right people for the right job. Create a culture that learns to adapt and excel. From the commentary I see, you failed. Better luck SBU bashing. |
