I have been talking about IWI in many places but never posted in official thread before, but I have been reading some of the comments here and I can testify a few things from player's point of view (sorry if this is a necro, but this thread deserves to be updated more regularly :p)
1. I am quite convinced that the RNG in IWI is very decent RNG, and the odds stated in slot machines and scratch cards are truthful.
2. I say this because I keep a spreadsheet of my slot winnings. I do not keep record of all possible winning combinations & amounts, but there are few slots where it's very easy to track as they are very noticeable
3. A few of the major things that I keep track of are 20b near-Jackpot (i.e. 4 Jackpot icons aligned) in Rat Race, ship winnings in Pirate Invsaion (because you can spin X number of times without claiming the ship wins and later tally up how many of each class of ships you have won in that X number of spins), 6b near-Jackpot in Caldari Militant, etc.
From my own records, the stated odds pretty much match the actual wins I have experienced. The only variation is the Jackpot win, as Jackpot amount fluctuate depending on how much is accumulated (i.e. winning 200b Jackpot once can be better than winning 30b Jackpot twice, etc).
4. I also tracked scratch cards wins over thousands of 1,000,000 token cards, and the average winnings per card was so close to the officially claimed 90m ISK per card that I stopped tracking as I saw no point in tracking any more. This is INCLUDING 7b scratch cards wins, which I had about 10 or so over these thousands of scratch cards.
5. If you are casual/short term player your sample size is way to small to make any observations on odds & randomness of slots. If I add all my slot spins together (across various slots), I have total spin count that is almost 1.5 million spins. Considering some of the Jackpot odds, this sample size is still not big enough to be more accurate, but for some smaller slots, my findings & X times Jackpots hit pretty much match up (for Rat Race I've actually won much more 20b near-Jackpot than my odds should have allowed, and I also won Caldari/Pirates Jackpot twice each way before reaching the mathematical odds, so I count myself very lucky).
6. I certainly did not deposit trillions to get up to such spin count. You win so much and at very reasonable rate that a decent size deposit will last you for the whole day of spinning, because you are not going to win nothing for 1,000 spins in a row (unless you are talking about Nothing But Jackpot but that's a different beast).
7. Tokens & tickets for Stellar entry, and the achievement loops, level up reward ISK - all these things combined can be quite significant amount over long term play, which effectively means that the amount of real ISK you put in per spin (ISK price per 9 line spin minus potential reward from XP/token/achievement loop gains) is lower than what you think. It is a very long journey but last time I leveled up I got over 40b ISK as a lvl up reward. I'm also on the max-level on roulettes at EVE BET and there the final reward for reaching the top level is like 15b ISK, but that is promotion ISK you cannot withdraw and can only use for gambling at their site. The level up reward ISK at IWI is ISK you can withdraw immediately & freely, it's not promo ISK with fixed conditions.
8. Some people dominating on slot winners list - people have answered this already. Multi-tab slots are a thing. When Jackpot gets big enough high-rollers will come in and do 10+ tabs of slots to grab the jackpot. The picture linked here before is from ISK Cargo slot, which is 270,000 ISK per 9 line spin. Rat Race 9 line is 27 MILLION ISK, which means instead of spinning one tab of Rat Race you could be spinning 100 tabs of ISK Cargo slot at the same cost. Considering that people do over 10+ tabs on high roller slots like Rat Race and Pirate Invasion when Jackpot goes crazy, it is only natural that some people can 'dominate' the winners list with crazy number of tabs running simultaneously.
Anyways, I'm not affiliated with IWI in any ways. But I love the site & have been rewarded greatly (and luckily) by gambling there over past few months. You can read my gambling story in the below link to get the full picture, which also contains some of great against-the-odds big wins screenshots.

Just to add some final words again....
Don't get too personal or angry when you lose at IWI (or any other such chance based gambling game). It's not like poker vs. other real players where someone can beat you with wit & cunning & experience.
When you lose at IWI or at roulettes or whatever such game of chance, you have not been sucker punched or cheated or tricked or made fool of by someone superior. You were just unlucky there, and you will be lucky some other time eventually.
In such game of chance gambling, you are not 'beaten' by skills or someone pulling one over you. There is no reason to get angry at anyone or reflect/direct your own disappointment at anyone in particular. I do get lots of eve mails regarding gambling at IWI and most of the time it's friendly conversation. There is no need for emotional rage or hostility in such game of chance.
